Do we know if there are any short-printed Throwbacks? Are they all estimated at 25 of each?

Just some heritage cards that came in from PSA and from a random seller today.

By my math there are more like 35 of each. I've opened many different packages, hobby, blasters, hanger packs and others. All of them have the 100th anniversary, magenta backs and throwbacks with listed odds.

In each the ratio odds to magenta is roughly 9.5 harder to get. Given there are 5,000 magenta backs that implies 525 total throwbacks.

The ratio of 100th anniversary cards is about 24 times harder to get. Given 12,500 total 100th anniversary cards, that also leads to an estimate of 525 throwback cards.

With 15 cards in the throwback set that would mean roughly 35 of each. I've seen nothing to indicate any are printed shorter than others. but with differences in demand, lack of numbering and rarity it is hard to be sure.

Bought a walmart blaster yesterday and it had a purple ref in every pack (also pulled a black ref). Went back and bought another today and had zero color and only 1 sp and nothing else. Worst $20 ever spent

Blaster hot boxes are 1 per 16 blaster box case. For $40, you got your money's worth.

File complaint with Topps. I was thinking if cards don’t come back gem mint I will send back for replacement. Bastards, there should be unlimited hits and multiple sps in every retail blaster. What’s this world coming to!

You sure about that? It should have 2-3 SPs and a couple of inserts. (“SP”s are the regular cards numbered 401-500.)

Has there been any more info regarding the nickname variation cards and the odds of pulling one?

They never published them that I saw. From what I’ve seen and heard, I think they are about 3 times as common as throwbacks so there are about 100-150 of each.

OK thanks. I'm utilizing a barometer on eBay and they just don't seem that rare based on how many have been put up for sale. There are currently 9 Judges on eBay that haven't sold yet, so are there really 7-10% of these actively being shopped right now? That figure seems a bit low in terms of totals.

Wow - that’s some haul! What was your strike rate on 10s?

Interesting that they’re not labelling the team name color-swaps or nicknames differently to the base.
