Thanks. I really like atomic/sapphire in general but the reds do look extra nice to me.

I’d love to see 30/70.

This is the goal.

40/80 will have to wait until next year

That card would 'pop' better out of that penny sleeve/top loader.

Great card!

Better chance at that than 40/40 at this point. I've said it from the start though I never thought he'd reach 40 HRs.

Agree. I've always thought 30 was just who he is. Anything over was icing on the cake. The SB numbers have wowed me though. I figured 40-50 sure no problem. 55 in the middle of August though.

His one full healthy season, he hit 41. His one healthy half season in 2021 he hit 24 in 82 games. The 2020 shortened season he had a 38 home run pace. He's back to full strength and really hitting his prime. 30 homers should really be his closer to his floor.

He's changed his approach this season, cutting down on the big swings and the strikeouts.

Agree. He is really focused on making much better swings this year. Will be interesting to see him evolve over the next decade.

This is the most likely reason for the lower hr number...his different approach at the plate of going for base hits first. Ronnie is tracking to around 86 Ks for this season. In his 2019 156 game season, he had 188 Ks. Last year in 119 games, he had 126 Ks. Tonight will be his 119th game of the current season, with 67 Ks currently. I can't remember a player being able to transform his K rate or K/BB ratio as dramatically as he has done this year. We talk about if so and so can fix their K rate in the off season, but it rarely happens to this degree. Could Ronnie get back to a 40 hr season, I don't see why not. He's made one dramatic improvement this season with the K rate. I think it's within him this off season/next season to make a minor adjustment to up his hrs a bit...but at the same time, getting his K rate down so much/his batting average to .330+ (previous high was .293 in his rookie year), 100+ runs, 55+ SBs and most likely a 200+ hits season have all been way beyond expectations.

I think it truly shows how talented he is. One the best players of the past 10 years and a former MVP is on the hottest of hot streaks...and the media still can't make a good reason for Freeman over Acuna (at this point) for MVP.

He also seems more focused after the injury
He transmits he wants to be great and loves the game

His swing is currently one of if not the best

He’s definitely changed his approach and it will most certainly cost him 40/40 this season. Will be interesting to see what he does next year. We know he wants to be a 40/40 member, or so we thought. Hes looking like a low 30s guy right now.

And Matt Olson currently has a higher OPS than Freeman. Are 60 points in batting average, Olson is currently at a career best .278, 7 runs, and 15 stolen bases worth more than 20 more home runs and 25 more RBI?
