I just compare it to mosaic where it was 45-50 a blaster while it was still showing up at target and Walmart. Flippers needed to get their money back and took their profit. It’s definitely a different rip than mosaic. Instead of looking for $100+ cards, you’re getting a bunch of $10-$15 cards. That low variance may mean prices top out at less than mosaic, but the absolute floor long term has to be around $80 for a blaster. May go higher.

What are blasters at, looks like about $50 right now? I would say the biggest % of inventory is in the market already. Not seeing many 4 tray reloads anymore. I hit a restock today at a store that had 4 trays initially and today it was 5 hangers and 13 fat packs. Prices may dip a little more, or they may not. If you’re betting on them going to $100 I’d rather get in at $50 rather than hope they go down to $45 but actually have them go up to $60 while I waited.

I think even more people are looking for cards now. A lot of resellers late to the game, etc. With this and only one more release to close season (Illusions), retail might be very hard to get, unless somehow some way people continue to show up at stocking times all of fall, I'm hoping the traffic slows down for a while so maybe I can get lucky a few times in the future

Will depend on how high resale goes on football...baseball isn’t worth the chase by itself for the hordes, it’s just icing on basketball chase.

Question for you guys, I’m currently sitting on 17 Megas that I bought on the secondary market at a cost average of about 185. I have an opportunity to pick up three more on a fb group for 170 each.

Does it make sense to round out at 20 or just quit with my 17? I’m very bullish on Megas, so I’m just curious of your thoughts.

And yes, I’ve also opened a ton, way more than I should have, haha. So this will all be a hold.

What do you guys think is a fair price on sealed fat pack boxes at this point? It’s interesting to me that fat packs have bottomed out at $15ish yet the sealed boxes are still going for 350-400.

Way more people out looking for Chronicles. Mosaic was a $45-50 box when it was in the store so people weren’t crazy searching for it...Chronicles started at $100 so way more incentive for bum ass flippers to chase lol.

I second this.
Only couple of times I had to split Mosaic was due to other guys I frequently ran into and now share with them every time I see them because they are actually collectors and we actually trade cards or give product to each other for cost.

everyone has differing opinions on class of 2019 vs 2018, but let me just say this: this year's product is superior to 2018. they took out 5 crap rookies and replaced them with LeBron, Luka (2nd year yay), Giannis, Curry, Trae. There are freaking Silver Prizms and colored chrome. 2018 blasters go for $250 now... you figure out what your sell price is and wait for it, but I guarantee if you do any buying right now, you will be able to sell for more before year end.

Spot on. LeBron is almost as good as a top rookie. Those silvers will bring good money too because everyone loves shiny stuff (and they're not easy to hit)

I figure I'd share with ya'll but I busted 2 fat pack boxes of 2019-20 Panini Chronicles Basketball.

Not exactly sure what the cards are worth but I had so much fun!! I don't think the bronze parallels are as rare as originally assumed since I hit a bunch.

It’s not bronze parallels (believe you should have exactly 24 if you recount), it’s bronze chrome. Seems you got 2? (Giannis flux and DLo optic)

In general, I see why people are chasing these as apparent shorter print, just wished it was just about any color other than bronze which kind of looks like poo to me. I’m sticking to silver long term

14 of the 15 cards were the same including bronze parallels, and in the same exact order too...only difference was the chrome card.

Had the same thing happen on back to back hangers I opened. 28/30 cards the exact same and in the same order (Just 2 different Chrome cards). Both boxes had Ja Luminance in them though so I couldn't complain.

My sealed wax total from the one target and eBay right now is 4 megas, 16 blasters (6 from eBay for avg $40per) 16 hangers (10 from eBay for avg $35 per) then 45 fat packs from eBay at $15 per. So not bad, I’d like to open something so I may open some fat packs when they get here, but everything else will stay sealed for the foreseeable future.

I just dropped 3600 on a local deal at $1 per card. And guys, I have so many crazy stories you would not believe it. Talked to the guy for 45 minutes. My ears are still ringing from what I just heard. I'll try to type it out later.
