Trying to get out as much as I can for this event before it ends, sitting at 42 Chancy candy and hoping to get 50 today and walk my Togepi as much as possibly before it ends tomorrow.

Sitting on Stardust can be challenging, but I've been super patient as of late. Sitting over 300,000 stardust and I catch everything along with hatching eggs and cashing in on my coins.

Naw, I wouldn't worry. Keep your main 12 lets say and power them up. What level are you?

Once you start getting 32, 33, 34 and such youll get more Stardust then you spend. Figure if you need 1 Million Exp for a level, that's probably 300k (at work will finish thought soon)

Finally found another Larvitar in the wild for the first time in 3 days. Id like to go out later but i'm busting a case of Classics with my dad so I wont have much time. after I scan and list all the goods.

Does the event end today or tomorrow?

I thought today, dooby said tomorrow. So I'm cool with tomorrow so I can go out tonight.

And classics sounds more fun then poke hunting for 3 hours lol.

Well, I think the price has been right the whole time, just finally changed the look.

Yea I noticed that too. The prices were reduced the whole event, but today they finally started advertising it.

Man, fire-types in general are non-existent in the south Dallas area. Excited to see what changes with the move to Tempe.

Yea, I misspell like 80% of the pokemon I try to type. A mix of I don't know how to actually do it lol, and I'm usually typing slower than I think I am lol.

Fire are pretty rare out here, with the Scanner 1 Ty, 2 Quail, and like 5 Cyndaquils Ive grabbed. A few more have spawned, but not that Ive picked up.

Nice Grabs. Hoping to just land 1 or 2 nice guys tonight.

But Mainly, going out with this "Extra Item Drop" before it ends. Want to restock 500+ Red balls. So looks like Ill be doing about 12-20 Laps in town. Just hate doing it at 11pm.

I know I love 3 of my 5 Exeggutors because they have solar beam, My 2 flareon arent bad, I have two Rhyhorn in this level that have potential, one Golem that has great IVs and two more Golem that are ok, One Lapras and a Blissey that I just can't seem to luck into candies for.

I want to get into the gym game more but I for no idea what or how to do it. I current control 3 of the 3 gyms where I work but no one is ever around and they are all level 10s so no one even puts forth the effort.

Any help anyone wants to give me would be awesome.

I think if you have a solid group of Blissy, Snorlax, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Rhydon, Gyarados and Vaporeon then you can't go too far wrong.

Some nice Machamps and Ursarings are handy for battling Blissys as well.

Spun another evolution item again last night (metal coat), which makes it four in four days for me (one from my streak). Don't know if that's just luck of they've increased the rates, but I've only been playing for a half hour or so after work so it's not like I'm spinning a lot of stops.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of Tauros in the game since Gen 2 came out? Not that I'm complaining since I caught a ton, but I find it super strange I have not seen a single one, even on my nearby, since Gen 2 release.

They definitely cut down Tauros spawns. I did see one a few weeks ago, but for a long time I would see 4 or at a clip in places. Good riddance.

Slugma is my new least favorite pokemon in the game. I'm really glad it's extremely rare around me, and good riddance to it when the event is over! Magcargo is garbage, and there's no reason 150 cp slugma's break out of 5+ pokeballs!

Ok, youll start to accumulate stardust as you get higher. I'm 37 and have 1.4 million stocked, the wife is 35 with 1.6 million saved. My Side is 33 with only 350k stardust saved up.

I also avg 7+ gyms a day (try for 10 on my main) which gets 35-50k stardust per week.

Anyone got any solid advice of using star dust? Especially as far as designating attackers/defenders/prestigers and the levels to shoot for.

Also, how many mons does everyone keep on them? Only those they use for fighting? Do you keep a "living pokedex"?

I'm going to be sad to see this event end. Prior to the event I didn't even have my gold medal for (200) rock type. I'm now over 400 rock type and went from zero Rhyhorn candy to almost 300!
