Nice way to get to pick your parallel. I'm wondering if they need them back for people who ordered them or if they double printed too and want to get the pop back to where it should be. I was about to list my extra Red Sox set on eBay, but I don't find the $25 Topps credit. Really sucks if they are going back out because those customers will get the shaft on parallels.

Anyone else in my boat? Forced to order both sets (Yankees) for a total of 179.98 (49.99 and 129.99). Received both and now they want the base set back for 25.00 store credit.
Anyone????? So far, it seems people did receive sets they didn't pay for. I was forced to pay for the extra set, and they want it back at half cost (in store credit--LOL). |

2022 Boston Red Sox MLB Topps NOW® Road To Opening Day 16-Card Team Set - Plus Autograph Option SKU: ARTBB-16C2S-22TN-B-ODBOS-ARTBB-16C2S-22TN-ODBOS-ARTBB-16C2S-22TN-ODBOS-A 1 $124.98 Base Product 1 x 2022 Boston Red Sox MLB Topps NOW® Road To Opening Day 15-Card Team Set $49.99 Auto Product 1 x 2022 Boston Red Sox MLB Topps NOW® Road To Opening Day - Autograph Component $74.99 (The issue is that the people packing out the orders didn't understand that, apparently - so on an order like mine or yours, they thought that the second line item DID include a base set. Also note that as a few people have mentioned, they were initially able to order just the "autograph component" - but that was a technical error as you were not meant to ever be able to order just the autograph card without a base set. Note sure what Topps's solution for those orders was/is...) Last edited by zworykin; 06-17-2022 at 06:52 PM. |

Re-read the original order and receipt, and I guess that is correct. If I had known the cost of an autograph (most likely Josh Donaldson) was 130.00, I never would have ordered it. Here is how last year's set was worded (notice the price-- set, with auto): 2021 New York Yankees MLB Topps NOW® Road To Opening Day 16-Card Team Set - Autograph Edition Estimated Ship Date: Sep 14, 2021 - Oct 22, 2021 ARTBB-16C2S-21TN-ODNYY-A $89.99 Ordered 1 Shipped 1 $89.99 I think I'll call CS Monday and try to send everything back for a total refund. Horribly worded, and obscenely priced. |

I ordered 25 RTOD sets (all different teams) in a single order, claimed my 25% discount, and was pleasantly surprised to find the shipping cost to Australia (via FedEx) was only $60.
Now you might assume, as I did, that these would be shipped as a single order, but no, that would be far too sensible. So far 10 these have been sent, all of them as separate shipments. If the other 15 are all shipped separately I'll have a mountain of small boxes to play with, and Topps will have spent a bucketload more than $60 getting them to me. The FedEx driver is going to get very sick of driving to my place! |

![]() Dear Platinum Members, What an incredible stretch from one of MLB's greatest players! On Sunday afternoon, Angels outfielder Mike Trout connected on his fourth game-winning home run during this past five-game series in Seattle against the Mariners - the first player in AL-NL history to pull off such a feat. The 30-year-old superstar's two-run blast in the top of the fourth inning proved to be all the offense the Angels would need in their 4-0 victory. Trout absolutely owned Mariners pitching during the visit to the Emerald City - becoming just the fifth player in franchise history to homer five times in one series. Five of his six hits left the ballpark - accounting for 9 RBI and 5 runs scored. To commemorate this historic achievement, we are excited to offer up the following autographed cards: Mike Trout /99 - Autograph card /49 - Autograph card /25 - Autograph card /10 - Autograph card /5 - Autograph card Please reply to this email with your reservation request by 12:00 p.m. EST, and please include any alternate parallels in case some of the lower numbered ones are sold out by the time your email is received. Thank you and have a great day! The Topps NOW team Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I got my TB sets over the weekend. Did it seem to anyone else that they had been opened already? The Topps sticker wraps had fingernail marks where they were pulled up (in related news I didn't get any wander parallels!). I ended up getting a double too....which is strange. 2x lowes /49, glasnow /25, arozarena /49, mcclanahan /99, baz /49.

Two recent orders came in. Both white sox guys. Jake burger 20’pack and Jose Abreu 5 pack.
Neither invoice showed I got parallels, but when I went to look at the cards, I got two abreu and four burger! Oh, and I got my full order of non-parallel cards too. Lucky good or is topps pulling a project 70 giving out the foil and the main order?! |

Yes, very strong luck for you on that one. Also presumably not huge print runs (though I haven't checked), which helps. (Edit - looked them up. Abreu was only 234, Burger 477 or 519 depending which one you're talking about. With parallels at /49, /25, /10, /5, and /1, that's 90 parallels... so 234/90 = an Abreu parallel per 2.6 base, and 477/90 or 519/90 = a Burger parallel per 5.3 or 5.8 base. You got an Abreu per 2.5 and a Burger per 5. Just about right! I retract my judgment that you had very strong luck, haha. Disclaimer - PRs and therefore odds may not be perfect, Topps doesn't seem perfectly consistent about including the daily multi-packs...) Last edited by zworykin; 06-20-2022 at 04:24 PM. |

I was really hoping that Oscar Gonzalez would get a card--game-tying HR that ended up with Cleveland taking the series from (one of) the best teams in baseball. Boo.

Ah. Maybe that's a previous years thing? I've only been buying them this season. They do state explicitly now on the item pages that "*Parallels are in addition to the base card in your order."
