I'd expect the Robert to settle around $150 right around where Tatis is, to me it's still one of his most ascetically pleasing rookie cards - and it has a print run of 750, lower than his Finest Flashback, lower than his Bowman Sapphire, likely lower than his Chrome Sapphire.
I think it has really great long-term potential.

Not just for selfish reasons but I'm glad Phil did a video on these, unless you hold these or see these for yourself it's hard to capture just how cool these cards are.

Opened my 10 box order and was very happy with collation.
Among others, hit LouBob base RC & Yordan base RC, 2 x 3D Roberts, 1 Yordan 3D, 2 x Kyle Lewis, 2 x Lux, Aquino. Most of the major vets, incl Soto, Acuna, Judge but not Trout...

Until that last pack mojo (actually the last card in the last pack):

Anybody know if this card has a 3D card motion effect?

Like if you see it one way, he's in his batting stance and if you tilt it another way, he completed his swing as pictured?

No they don't, just the visual effect of depth. I've found the wide angle landscape cards like this one show the effect so much better than any of the other cards even.

Collation on these on-demand releases are usually pretty swing or miss. Have seen volatile results on youtube.

Man, that Trouty SP is a beauty. Love the angle of that shot.

From what I saw from last year there are unfortunately runs, I saw 40+ boxes with no Tatis, Alonso, and Eloy last year then saw another 40 that had 5+.

What is the estimated value of that Trout SP? Someone offered me a trade for my Ichiro relic auto /5 and I think I might jump on it

Yes I can see that card settling around $150-$200, sold one of mine yesterday for $175, I think I'm keeping the other one and the SP especially after seeing how low the SP sold for

It’s really hard to say what the value is right now since we really don’t know what the print run is.. and having the photo variations in the Topps 3D set is a new thing. The photo is an amazing shot, so this might be desired in the future, which will increase the value (example: 2015 Topps Opening Day SSP). Sorry that isn’t much help. The card is so new, it’s really worth how much you think you’re willing to spend on it right now.

Hey Speedy, the base cards do not have a motion effect -- it is more of a sense of depth. The 3D Rookie inserts have essentially 2 photos that alternate when held at different angles. I've posted a short video of the Trout on my IG @CoachBrunoCards, to demonstrate the "depth effect".

And congrats Reggie -- figured that sale was to you! We still need a Reggie-signal .gif tho...

I was just about to ask if anyone has pulled a base Lux. That is definitely an odd omission considering the names they fit into the checklist like Adames and Andujar.

Collation is definitely interesting... My 2 boxes arrived Saturday - yes, I wish I had purchased more, but I walked away from the PC after thinking I was done paying for a larger pile of boxes through Paypal, and by the time I noticed and clicked through the last step 10-15 minutes later they were sold out.

No dupes in my 2 boxes, but all of my base cards were last names starting with A through D. That seems odd to me - I know 12 cards isn't a large sample size, but 7 "A" names out of 12 cards seems very unlikely to be accidental (even more unlikely when you consider the checklist only has 11 names starting with "A" and I got 7 of them).

Anyone else seeing alphabetical collation? Could just be (un)luck of the draw on my part...

- The Trout is headed to PSA.

I received my five boxes from Topps and noticed there is no reference on the box that these are the 3D cards. My boxes just have the Topps Now printed on them with a 2019 copyright line. Is this normal? And how would someone differentiate these from another Topps Now product?

Haha no problem! He ended up trading his Trout variation for another card since I didn't get back to him quickly enough lol. Guess I'll sell the Ichiro and use the money to buy a Trout since apparently they've been selling on eBay sub $500
