I believe my track record of being pro-Mini is well documented so part of me appreciates the love you're giving them (actually, that's not true. I'm still in buying mode so I'd kind of like you to give it a rest for a bit ).

But dude, ease up. You're really laying it on pretty thick here. I haven't seen pump action like this since The Pleasure Chest started mailing products anonymously.

Not for everyone, all the time. There's nothing I can do on a Saturday to get more money from my employer.

Agreed. If you're salaried and aren't required to work overtime and working overtime doesn't reflect at per hour rate in bonuses, then time value of money is pretty low vs playing Madden or dicking around

I'll say it again...I simply don't want people to miss out.

Obviously, there's money to be made since these aren't as bad as some of the naysayers claim they are.

Look at my track record...I'm not a big seller, so if I want to "pump" something, it doesn't necessarily mean I have a financial gain agenda.

I understand wanting to keep things quiet though, and that's why I'm not pumping these a lot harder.

I've never understood that argument. For the most part, the time I've spent breaking/sorting/listing is also being used to watch a game or show on TV. If I weren't doing the card activities, I'd still likely be just sitting on the couch watching a game or show.

Good luck with your break. Sounds like fun.

9700 packs, 1000 1/1s = 1/1 every 9.7 packs. Quite the deal.

I think there are more than 1,000 1/1s.

The 1984 insert set has 1/1 versions as well.

Yup this was the no brainer with the product. 1/1s are 1:8 Packs...

So in 16 Packs you can expect something close to:

2x 1/1's
1x Auto
8x /5's
16x /10's
48x /25's
485 Base

That's a whole lot of value for $400. There are 4 Major cards also (Tatis, Alonso, Vlad S2, Vlad Update) where their parallels will be quite valuable.

Just like Razor or Sport Kings or other "unlicensed" products

to be fair, you are a big spender on the online releases over the years

Has anybody confirmed the size of the 1984 checklist?

Is it the full 250 players, or just 25 (which is what was in the publicity sheet)?

Those odds are amazing. I’d gladly take those!

Got pulled into some meetings and missed my shot to buy these on Topps site. Had to unfortunately overpay for a box on eBay.

Hate how that’s awesome he system yet here I am being part of the problem!

Nothing like the unbridled joy of pulling 1/1's of Travis Jankowski and Dwight Smith Jr.

(This happened to me).

Any clue when we might expect these to ship?

They are warming the boats up in China as we speak.

We are about 2 weeks away from release and boxes are selling for $55. Any expectations based on prior launches like this on how much that jumps with release hype, if at all?

If anything, it drops just a bit on release due to the flood of sellers trying to pay off their credit card bills.

If there is a jump, it will likely be a few weeks after release once a bulk of the product gets bought and ripped and sealed boxes are more scarce.

I would think the boxes will increase initially as we start to see how strong of a break these are and the sale prices on singles.

Called about a redemption issue, think it was Erica I got and then asked about mini, she said to still expect 3-5 days after the clock would expire 12/3 so they won't be early

This is what I'm inclined to think, or hope at least. Feel like 30 x /291 cards and another 5 @ /25 or less for even $75 will show very well.

But that time is money. You're working on a Sat., getting paid. You may want more, but your time is being rewarded, with money.

Breakers should count their time. Don't think they'r breaking while on a job. They could be doing something that could make them more money. I sat here posting. Getting paid on salary. Could of posted a few items for sale on the bay. Posted here instead.

I used to buy a lot of storage units. I spent a lot of time sorting, cleaning/fixing, researching, marketing, shipping etc. I counted up the labor I used on 1 unit once. I was making $4 an hour. I refined my business model soon after.
