I thought KCP was who the Lakers would be shipping out? I doubt LA would send a young guy like Lonzo out for someone as old as Ariza.

If I'm the Lakers, I'm shipping out KCP over Lonzo 7 days out of the week and twice on sunday.

They're essentially shooting with the same horrible numbers, but Lonzo is years younger on still on a friendly contract and plays way better defense with rebounding and assists.

Not even close.

Problem is, I doubt KCP has any trade value right now. Lonzo still does.

He does need to figure out his shooting though. Below %40 from the field 2 consecutive years isn't acceptable.

The Lakers are in win now tho... Ariza is only 33... he has a few good seasons left. I think the Lakers get more out of Ariza. They have seen enough of Lonzo... dude cant shoot.

I'd love if it was Lonzo gone instead of KCP, but I just don't see that being the trade. Would love to be wrong though.

LMAO!!! There is no chance they ship Zo out for Ariza. Zo might not be lighting the league on fire, but he’s miles more valuable trade wise than 33yr old Ariza. They aren’t giving up on him not even 1.5 seasons into his career. With injuries the kid hasn’t even played a full season yet. He’s made enough improvements on offense so far to hold out hope, and he’s already bordering on being an elite defender at barely 21yrs old.

Sucky loss. I only got to watch a few minutes of the second quarter. Lakers made a run and took the lead. Then the rockets went to the line the next 4 trips down. I hate watching harden play.....

I completely agree.

The Lakers won't be giving away young talent for Ariza, who aint exactly gonna put them over the line to beat GS.

I bet they would package Zo or Ingram in a deal that nets them a sure fire stud though. But Ariza just isn't that guy.

I bet Bron to score 35 + and an LA win today. He was pretty agressive in the first half with 18 and a little in the 3rd. Bit of a shame.

What is with the Lakers complaining about the refs everytime they lose a game? More fouls were called on Houston and the free throws were 32-27 lol. That's getting old. Especially when most nights, they are the ones getting all the calls. How about they just worry about making their own free throws instead of always complaining. 55% is pretty pathetic for an NBA team.

This Eastern road swing hasn't been kind to the Lakers. Although ask some of the Eastern Conference fans and they'll tell you it's a jungle over that side so don't fret.

Gotta give Sean Marks credit for turning that ball club around. They have a bright future for sure. He refuses to overpay guys and that's gonna keep them in a good place.

Got a good eye for talent. Don't think too many people saw Dinwiddle, RHJ, Levert, or Allen being the players they are now.

lakers just down 3 starters. The depth is killing them and it’s really showing on the defensive end. Ready for the squad to get back to what they were building on.

2 starters. Rondo is not a starter.

Pretty much. No McGee meant the second unit defense fell apart as it did on the pre-Chandler days.

The more concerning thing is how terrible a defender Josh Hart is against anybody going to the basket. Kid is great on switches against bigger players, but he’s just a turnstile when attacked. The lack of Ingram has been the killer these past two weeks.
