Malaki
Miro
Ricky Starks

All have been removed from the AEW roster page

Black's contact expired as we all know

Miro and AEW came to terms of a release

Starks, no idea but I read he's free and clear to go and perform wherever he wants so no non compete period

Assume Black and Starks head to WWE. Not sure if WWE want Miro again or maybe he ends up in TNA

I've never understood why they bring back previously released people. If you didn't have anything for them the first time what has changed that they are now going to be that much better ? IMO

Alister Black was even worse in AEW than his first run in WWE. The House Of Black fell flat and never went anywhere.

Miro mehhh had what like 3 matches in AEW between all the injuries and them not having anything for him ?

Starks is the only one who really has a chance to shine but I would honestly start him off in NXT first then bring him up late summer around Summer Slam.

Black is a definite for Smackdown, IMO. Starks is a definite for NXT, IMO. Miro is 50/50, but I think they'll sign him.

It's as simple as this, they bring them in because they believe money can be made.

None of the 3 really do anything. Maybe Starks can be decent if he ends up in NXT could have some good matches and shine a bit more down there. Black would seem like Andrae get some matches here and there but just be another guy on the roster who really does not do much which was what he did in AEW. Miro he also seems would be the same. I think Black and Miro would be better in TNA were I think they could get a bigger push in a smaller company.

I think all 3 could make some waves. Starts in NXT would be perfect for him. I think Black was underutilized in his first run. I think if Rusev came back he’d be able to get way over.

His release was more for personal reasons than them not having anything for him though. Once he got his head out of his ass he was able to get some momentum. Even though it seems like he's a bad actor backstage with reports of him throwing fits and throwing stuff around I think it's more for show than him actually having a bad attitude. I mean how many times in the last year have we gotten reports that he was mad about something and walked out only to show up the next night or week ?

You always have an excuse, don't you? Everyone else was released simply because they didn't have anything for them, but not Drew?

Drew was released because Vince couldn't trust his abilities. Kind of tough to have something for him when you can't trust him.

Ricky Starks was nothing more than enhancement talent for WWE.

Rusev was a budget cut causality stemming from Covid-19.

Let's quit acting like every release the WWE has made was a smart decision.

Apparently Miro invested his money well and has talked about not needing to wrestle anymore, wouldn't shock me if he's done altogether.

Weird how they cut Raw off as New Day was attacking Rey. I thought they'd have more time on NetFlix?

As far as the AEW released guys, Im not a fan of any of them, but I assume Black is coming in and getting put on SD, maybe he eventually goes after the US Title? If he gets over. Starks is definitely an NXT signing if he wants it. Miro IDK.

Meanwhile, Fenix remains an AEW POW.

Maybe he wouldn't be if he wasn't out badmouthing the company and trying to slander just to "get released" early from his contract..

Divorcing Lana/CJ had to help his bank account and sanity...

Two weeks in a row. Maybe they are considering it a 'bonus' for the live audience in attendance?

I'm guessing they are continuing the same strategy they used when Raw was on USA and deliberately planning stuff to be happening as they go off the air.

It gets people going to social media to see what happened after they went off the air.

This seems closer to revisionist history. Drew in the early 2010s was a total joke (and that's even ignoring he was in 3MB). Nobody would've ever predicted what he's become/became.

Ricky Starks debuted in NXT tonight, just like I assumed he would.

He never actually called himself by that name, though. Hmm....I hope they don't make him change it.

They'll just call him "The Rick".

It was pretty much a given...but..I find the timing awfully weird

I mean I guess we technically don't know exactly when he was released...just that he was removed off the AEW roster page along with Black and Miro on Monday

Having him show up and already have plans less than 24 hours later...while doable since he has a connection with Cody...seems a bit fishy lol

Ricky showed up faster than I thought, but not overly shockingly because you know he wanted to be in WWE. And I would think he keeps his name since Ethan Page did.

Also they ruined the womens title match on Saturday by adding Cora. I assume she's the one to get pinned at least now.

I only saw a clip. Did he go on to call anyone out or set up a storyline? Not that surprising that he was there that quick. He cut a generic promo and referred to himself as a free agent, suggesting that there maybe wasn't a contract signed just yet.

The difference between Ethan Page and Ricky Starks is that is Ricky's actual name. And I think he keeps using it because they were chanting his name and he responded with "It's obvious you know who I am."

Demolition signed to Legends contracts.

Now, put 'em in the HOF already, where they belong.
