Default The Official NBA Regular Season Thread—-20/21 Edition

Why did lamelo Ball not get in until the last minute in a semi close game vs the Lakers? Rookie or not, he should’ve been out there.

Does the coach not trust him? Thought he has been playing pretty damn good

It's one thing to get ripped by Beal for 43 pts on 24 shots. It's one thing to get ripped by Westbrook for 35 points on 23 shots.... it's another thing to get ripped by both of them in the same game.

I'll change my tune if they can somehow manage to get a stopper before the playoffs.

Their defense as a team this year has been solid. They don’t have a Ben Simmons, but they come together to make it work. It’s their depth on offense and defense that makes them successful. Utah simply doesn’t trot out dud rotations.

The Jazz are 5th overall in points allowed, 3rd in points scored, 1st in point differential, and have the best record in the NBA. All despite having played one of the toughest schedules in the NBA up to this point.

Could they falter? Sure. I just think that they are still far better than they are given credit for. Playoffs are the playoffs and I don’t have a crystal ball, but I think they will contend. We have seen a large enough sample size at this point to see who they truly are.

Indeed!

Great game from Russ, and very encouraging to see him making free throws in this one at a high clip.

Man, Wiz need to play more .600 teams...

Shout out Aussie Joe with the career high 34 - Impressive win by the Wiz to withstand that dead eyed dick from downtown + a Mitchell explosion.

One of the ways to blunt the Jazz as we saw tonight is to foul Gobert anytime he is at the rim and force Mitchell to take more 3's because he is an absolute nightmare to guard off the dribble going to the basket.

40+ and not a word besides yours. More talk about the soon to implode Jazz.

Yet some rando on the Thunder dropping 10 out of nowhere and it’s front page pump news.

Gotta wonder how much longer the Celtics are going to stick with Ainge as GM and Stevens as coach.

Hideous home loss to Sacramento tonight, and the team is underperforming in general.

Nice road win by the Warriors in Memphis without Steph/Paschall/Wiseman.

Wiggins goes off for 40, and Poole continues his excellent play with another 25.

Ugly game but Jazz back in the win column. Mitchell put the team on his back in the 4th quarter.

He’s got a knack for that. Dude can be crazy streaky but he’s definitely got the killer instinct.

what a comback win for the Nuggets in overtime, down 14 in the 4th. Jokic and Murray took over

So the top 9 teams in the West have the same record or better than the 4th seed in the East.

Good lord.

And man Indy really dropped off quick. I liked them

After the refs helped them (who'd have thought??) with the flagrant called when MPJ was shooting a 3, and Murray drilling the three prior to the timeout there looked like only one outcome. Then Murray went passive and turned down two shots he should have taken and it looked lost again, until the tree to tie right at the end. Crazy finish.

And the 12th placed team in the East, the Wiz, are 7-2 vs the top 6 in the West.

That's a nice record.

Meanwhile the Spurs are 12 and 14 vs the West and absolutely feasting on the East at 10 and 2.

they called the flagrant foul because he didnt give MPJ any room to land on the 3 point shot. even the bulls announcer acknowledged that rule

LeBron out indefinitely with a high ankle sprain. Who’s the new MVP front runner now with Bron and Embiid both out. Joker? Giannis? Dame? Steph? Luka?

Isn't it funny how childish men can be when we're pissed off.

Knocking over a chair.

And I'm talking about ALL men.

He'll probably be out 2 weeks.

He was overdoing it anyway. Stubborn dude. Although he is making the game look easy.
