Don't know much either, but at 4500 there seems like quite a few to choose from, at the end of the day you have to get what you like and it is a nice card. For that amount I would probably choose something different.

Yea, Baller aint for me

Topps gave him three Topps Chrome releases (2020, 2021, and 2022) for some reason.

The print runs were way smaller than real TC. but the pack odds were WAAAY easier and color numbering were the same.

I love the Ben Baller Auto for Bobby from 2022. It was a great image choice and as far as I know wasn't on any of his other cards from 2022. Perfect example of collect what you like. I have an orange one and it is my favorite card.

This was the same image as the Sonic SP, right?

Of all the Ballers' that one is the one I like best.

The Bobby market feels a little irrational right now. The lead up to the season appears to be loosening some wallets.

For anyone thinking about investing in Bobby, I have two thoughts:

1) Investing in ultra modern players is a terrible idea.

2) Right now the 2025 AL MVP seems to be baked into his prices. Just wait until the season starts and if he struggles even a tiny bit, you should be prices drop.

i agree that cards are for collecting, not investing.
always spend money that you wont miss.

i do not agree with the "baked in" stuff.
Bobby's cards cost more now, its 2025.
i realize i am unlikely to get more Mejiers
at $40

wax prices are at all time silly prices.
i think people are starting to wake up to
it all.

now if Bobby has a sub-par 2025 i would
expect some softening of his run of the mill
cards, thats natural as some folks are scared
cafrd folks

I don't believe so the Sonic SP is the same as the regular Topps Chrome SP just with a different placement of the logo's and the image variation Sonic is a running image.
