Morning fellas! Been away a long time for various reasons. So obviously Ronnie is doing stratospheric things this season so I’m checking prices on a lot of the 2018 stuff and his BCA and i am shocked to find prices are actually lower than last year. Is this a reflection on the card market and economy in itself? Seems like all the bigger guys - Bichette, Soto, Vlad - are all down too. What’s going on?

Overall market is down. That is the #1 reason. Also, a lot of people who have been waiting to sell their Ronnie stash are dumping it all on eBay now. I think some high-end Ronnies are doing well though. His cards are holding steady while cards from guys guys like Soto are “tanking”.

I just see it as a great buying opportunity!

Alot of this! Guys that either bought in early (& didnt sell at pandemic) or bought in at peak pandemic...are selling now. Lots of great Ronald's being offered out in the world. Throw in the the hobby market is in decline and you end up with a guy actually beating expectations and meeting the hype but his cards are flatlined. There's just not enough "true collectors," as some would say, to gobble up this many Acuna's in this small of a window (during a market decline).

The other issue is that his cards were already priced like this season was a given, like most guys who take the league by storm at a young age.
