Am I the only one who thinks this product can't be broken by PR? Especially when some of the Bryant tickets haven't been pulled? That was the whole reason behind the price point of the product. If he ends up breaking it open he's in for a lawsuit against him. His only real course of action is discounting the product.

It's almost like the lottery advertising a million dollar prize when actually there's only a $1,000 scratch off ticket top prize. The only time the lottery can pull scratch off's is when the top prize or the top two prizes have been hit.

I can easily see discounting at this point.

But I'd like to know about breaking his own product; don't Panini and Topps do similar things in previews and use them as replacements or something like that?

If anything happens, I doubt it would be till AFTER the National though, as 1 ticket has already been pulled. The issue of what could happen if/when someone pulls another after that point is another problem.

It's my understanding, they show them off to preview and then put them back in the packed out product. At least that's what they (Topps) has said on Twitter before.

I think it would need to be around $2000 at the highest for any considerable amount of the remaining product to be moved. Price will obviously only go down after the bryant scratch tickets are no longer valid.

That's the issue, the Bryant tickets will still be valid as long as all 5 haven't been pulled. If anyone truly thinks that if one person shows up at the National with a Bryant scratch off, he will automatically win it, is crazy. Will screwed up by not putting an expiration on his scratch off's....meaning if I pull a Bryant scratch off 2 years from now then I have every right to receive that card as the next person. He used word of mouth which is not a binding contract.

Which again seems to be caused by the rushing of the product. If it clearly said on there, expires August 2, 2015, then we wouldn't even have this discussion.

I think that it's crazy to think if one guy shows up he WON'T win it automatically...of course he will...that is the rule...u pulling one 2yrs from now won't mean anything...the card is gone...we have no clue what happens when u redeem card...once code is entered it might say all the legal is has to...and if it doesn't now he can just add it to make sure it does and then redeeming a "winner" would then show you are out of luck as the cut off date was at this year's national...

Show me where it states, "That is the rule" besides Will verbally saying so. Now you may be right about the legal stuff once the code is entered, but I have yet to see anyone confirm this with any other code they redeemed for his other prizes.

If I win the Powerball along with some other guy and he redeems his ticket before me and I wait a year, you think the lottery will say? Oh sorry, he redeemed his first and is entitled to the whole amount since you waited. That's not how the lottery works and that is essentially what this is.

I also think if Blowout is going to support the product by offering breaks and selling it in their store, they should at least make sure the manufacturer of the product doesn't just disappear off the planet. Will took advantage of a lot of good will and promoted through Blowout. For him to make a cryptic message about not throwing away losing scratches and nothing since is weird to say the least.

Just my two cents. I'm sure 50% agree and 50% disagree. And trixstar, whose puppy apparently will be murdered if this thread reaches 200 pages, will disagree vehemently.

Also note that I have already PM'ed Houdini to make sure that this break was from BO's existing inventory and not that they were ordering a case from Will specifically for this break.

I'm shocked Houdini would even let you in, if he even does. You are clearly not a man of your word. You stiff a breaker, bash this product, then turn around and buy it.

Who knows? He hasn't let me in yet.

But everything you said was wrong.

I didn't stiff a breaker. I backed out with 900 spots left to fill. I didn't want to support this product and I didn't want Blowout to continue to buy from PR. If this is their last case, though, and this helps Blowout get rid of their last inventory, I'd like to help.

As far as bashing this product....it sucks. I've been calling it like it is, along with 1000 other people. Only one case of this product will be profitable, and that's ONLY if the Bryant super is given away.

It's clearly stated here, the sell sheet and PR website that the Bryant will be given away at the National. The 5 scratch card winners entitle the person to a Rush Ticket. If you scratch a winner after the National, I am sure PR will be happy to send you your Rush Ticket if you want it, but the Bryant will be long gone.

Actually, if you don't turn in your ticket until a year later, you forfeit your half of the pot. The other guy gets his half. Powerball and most state lotteries have a six month window to turn tickets in.

You mean "I know about 6 peoples heads in this thread that will explode if it IS THEIR LAST CASE"???

Why couldn't this be BO's last case?

I'll be quite honest. I hope you win the Bryant. You'll look really good then. Lol.
