Appreciate it. I really like the Summer Blockbuster card. Right up my alley.

With the overall offense, teams can't afford to walk him but he's also perfectly willing to take his walks. He'll be on 2nd or 3rd before they have a chance to think, and boom another run. I've barely missed a Braves game in over 30 years, and I've never seen anyone even approach being a game changing force the way Ronnie is.
So perfectly put. Just incredible stuff watching every RAJ at-bat. No cheap outs with him, ever.

The plate discipline this season and improved approach is as or more impressive than anything else to me....14% K rate and almost 1:1 BB/K ratio!

Agree. I've also noticed that he isn't nearly as phased by the inside pitch this year. Last year he was diving out of the box on balls barely inside. This year, he's staying in there.

This is probably the toughest thing for any hitter to do...ever...and even more so in the matter of one off season. Some of us talk about that here in the forum, as if any talented hitter can flip the script and start reducing his K rate with some practice. But it's super rare when the it actually happens.

Where are all of the people who declared Acuna dead and buried?

Crazy run there. Did they really mess up the labels on the mothers day, fathers day, and camo?

Thanks. They did mess them up. Going to send them back in soon to be corrected. PSA reached out to fix it. Those 3 are all 10s so grades won’t change at least.

But he doesn't lead in the only category that matters, batting average. At least, that's what everyone in the Arraez camp says.

Well to play devil's advocate, most people don't care about a lot of those stats. Average throw speed?

Top 4 IMO- average, HR, RBI, OPS

Ronald is 2nd, 9th, 15th and 2nd. Which is still awesome.

Are you looking at all MLB, or just NL?

Still plenty of games left, but Arraez may be the one to deny another Triple Crown opportunity. This time in the NL.

Acuna has my vote NL MVP vote as of now, but let’s not act like “Hardest Throw Speed” is an important category and batting average is for chumps! Haha

Gonna need the Marlins to sneak one more win in against Boston before they get swept by the Braves this weekend.

Yes, some of those stats are silly. Also, they kind of piggyback on themselves to make the list longer. How often are you the leader in wOBA and not xwoba (admittedly I don't know the difference). OPS and OPS+. Extra base hits and total bases, etc. You can take half the list out and it is still impressive and worthy of MVP vote without all the superfluous junk with it.

Who’s the triple crown contender in the NL?

All in good baseball fun.

The bottom line is this: anyone who actually watches baseball should have Acuna easily at the top of the current NL MVP leaderboard. I do think it’s an interesting battle for 2nd place though between Carroll, Arraez, and Freeman.
