I hope the doctors are just nervous in front of cameras.

They are saying he’s doing fine and improving.

I'm sure they are nervous. I can't imagine the pressure they must feel right now.

im assuming he was referencing Ayn Rand. I know thenwhatjk personally, and though we are quite opposite on the political spectrum (im with ballhawk) he is an incredibly sharp individual and an all around great guy to be around. so im sure it was a fitting jab, i just can't for the life of me figure it out, or really care since it didnt have to do with me haha.

Incredible parenting. So many life lessons built into such a simple example.

I want the most capable people in our country to be incentivized to do whatever it is that they do. It’s unreasonable to expect them to do the heavy lifting only to get taxed even harder than the rest of us. I understand they benefit from society financially. I don’t care. What I care about is keeping America awesome, and sometimes these cute ideas of “fair” aren’t practical in reality. Many of those crying “not fair” are easily replaceable and add little value to society, if any.

One of the beautiful things about America is that opportunity is there for the taking. I know too many people who started in worse situations than literally anyone in America that have come here and thrived. Their success puts mine to shame when you factor in the advantages I have of being born here and speaking the native language.
Yeah! Don’t tax corporations! They are really making sure to reinvest those profits from tax cuts to their employees!

Oh...wait, no they aren’t. Wages have been stagnant or at best paced with inflation for years.

A few years later, by 50, he owned commercial property and rented out 8 spaces to businesses. He has now retired with a nice nest egg, a building paid off, and those same 8 spaces paying him every month.

He's my inspiration.
I think it’s pretty horrendous that the right seems to think people that work 50-60 hours a week at fast food jobs and other service industry jobs shouldn’t make a living wage.

There are plenty of people who work full time but can barely get by, far more than the “lazy people” that want to leach off the system.

So based on what the doctor said he’s had Covid since Wednesday and we would’ve never known without that reporter breaking the story about Hope Hicks having it.

I’ve only heard the name Ayn Rand, but have no idea how that’s a jab. I couldn’t even tell you if Ayn Rand is a man or a woman or even if he/she is still alive. I couldn’t care less, either.

You continue to say nothing of substance. Your presence in this thread over the past 24 hours has only added to the clutter. Critique critique critique... no ideas, no plans, no spine.

You should look into her. I think you’d like her. Atlas Shrugged is probably her most popular book.

I’m also not talking about taxing small or even really medium sized business owners. I am taking about mega corporations though and people that are making millions of dollars a year. Someone that makes 5 million dollars a year should absolutely pay at least an effective 50% tax rate.

What are your ideas? The greatest economy we had in our country also had the highest taxes. It allowed us to take on a huge project like the interstate highway system, which is something we could never accomplish today.

Again, unless there are a bunch of multimillionaires in here, the taxes I want imposed would impact literally none of you. Why you shill for the megarich when you will likely never be in that group is simply beyond me.

Chris Christie has entered the chat.

That was some Super Spreader event at the Rose Garden.

Wonder who'll test positive next.

this video plays out like the nothing else.

Really can't think of a better display of how cavalier the administration was/is to Covid.

So much stupidity on display.

the 10 minute mark is where it starts to peak.

Plenty of countries in Europe that will satisfy your needs. Nobody is forcing you to stay here and live in our terrible economic system. I'm sure they would be glad to have you. Judging by your posts here so far I don't think many here in the US would miss you.

The wage should increase, and you are seeing it happen in a lot of places. Look at Wal-Mart, that's becoming a great gig for virtually no skill.

If you are making $10 an hour working full-time, you can easily live off it.

Boy this is getting interesting.

Can't expect anything in this administration to be forthright.
