Lakers are the only team left that doesn’t have a player that can really go get his shot. The closest thing they have is Austin Reaves. They don’t have a guy you can give the ball to and have him hit big jump shots. Denver’s got Murray, Miami has Butler, and Boston has Tatum.

Also Dlo is bad

I'd wait for the news that LeBron is out for game 3 before putting that one down, you'll probably get + money on the ML before tip.

Series definitely isn’t over yet. But the nuggets have won on the road the first two series. Including putting up 81 in a half to close it out in Phoenix. They aren’t a product of the altitude and it’s going to be tough games in LA.

Chances of him missing g3 of the WCF are less than him hitting a 3 in q4.

Actually, it's weird. He's been shooting the 3 at an 'okay' clip (by his standards) in everything but the final period in the previous 2 series' Thinking that has something to do with 20 years of mileage, altitude, and gassed legs.

Where I'm at as well. Lakers have been great at home. I think there's a good chance this comes back to Denver 2-2.

Nuggets and Lakers shot identical FG% in game #1. Lakers shot more FT's. Lakers lost.

Nuggets and Lakers shot identical FG% in game #2. Lakers shot more FT's. Lakers lost.

The better team is winning while not shooting to their potential. Until LAL figures out how to keep Denver off the glass, they're dead.

Fakers faithful: chins up.

It's trying times like these we congregate around the prophetic words melodized by Reaves many moons ago.

Find solace in defeat ----> Take comfort in the ensuing makeup sex.

Fakers en siete.

lakers had the chance to steal it but too many easy opportunities.
Don't see a way the Lakers win a game 7 after this Jamal explosion. Jamal will probably take over the whole 2nd half of game 7.
So lakers basically have to win 4 straight games.

They are very capable of winning the next 2.
100% lakers will win game 3.

All these Laker fans with their moral victories lol

I will say, when I saw Lebron's ankle get rolled like that, I was thinking "Oh god I hope it isn't serious" Probably not, but you never know how it will be tomorrow/Saturday. People calling him washed are hilarious, he's still amazing although his 3 pointers are not falling and he needs to do something else.
Did lebron roll his ankle while flopping?

Don't think LeBron is washed but that was the worst game I've seen him play in many years. Missed layups/dunks, kept chucking 3s... that was a Lakers win if LeBron just has a below average game.

That's not a below average game for LeBron? Comon now ... you're focused on a handful of bad plays rather than the totality of what was a so-so offensive game w/ very strong defense.

If you're suggesting that 13-19 is the bare minimum you need from LeBron to have a chance to win; you're not going to win.

So the Lakers are up 2-0 based on moral victories? People seemed to be excited about the Lakers figuring it all out near the end of game 1.

It was great to watch him choke. LaFlop missing 3's and layups then turn the ball over. It was music to my eyes.

Well, if that's a below average game for LeBron, it was a below average game for Jokic too so it's a wash and Denver still wins.

Not completely washed. But the post season has definitely shined a spotlight on his aging. He was chucking those 3’s because he was tired. Can also see the burst isn’t what it used to be. Post season is tougher. Can see the wear and tear now.
