Not a fan of putting the belts on MCMG after 2 matches my guess it was part of their agreement to sign. Sadly we most likely get MCMG vs. Street Profits which I have no interest in.whatsoever. Profits were the it thing 2 yrs ago now they are just boring. They likely turn heel in the next couple of weeks to set up the first title defense at SS.

I was thinking the same thing. But I guess you needed a new challenger for 2.0.

Now the question is how long do they drag out Jey and Roman making up? Is it right away, or do they try pulling some "will he or won't he?" BS right up until the actual SS match, or he joins late

I don't think it was part of them signing, I think they were just lucky to have signed when they did. They're the hot new tag team, the WWE is putting more emphasis on the tag division, and they needed to get the titles off of G.o.D.

Putting the titles on them opens up a bunch of different avenues they can go down with the division.

Anyone that's been to a wrestling show in a stadium knows that it's a terrible fan experience compared to an arena show.

Go look at current prices. I don't care what stadium it's held in. Limited view seats in the rafters are over $1000. The lowest price after fees to get in the stadium is $1300. I paid less last year for what I would consider to be probably about as good of a seat as you can have for the overall experience of the wrestling show in a stadium.

I'll believe there's more emphasis on the tag division when they start defending on PLEs again.

Problem is there are too many mid card tag teams and not enough singles top card right now.

Gotta start somewhere. Before recently, the tag division was in the gutter. Now they're on the sidewalk. Let's start talking PLE when they get to the front door. Either way, they're on TV, feuds are being created, and soon stories will be told. That's better than meaningless matches every once in awhile. What that is is an emphasis being put on the division to grow it.

Cutting off the tag team division while improving the mid card division would be to push Montez Ford. I just don't see why they haven't yet. He's great in the ring, good on the mic. He should be a no brainer.

I haven't exactly seen any fueds being started on the men's side.

Hopefully they give MCMG some mic time, preferably in the ring and not just backstage. I'm not sure there much for mic talent in the division. And they are wasting a very good manager in Paul Ellering.

Right now they're putting emphasis on the division. The stories will come.

If you say so.

I stand by what I said about it still being a bunch of mid tag teams that I question how much mic talent they have.

Well, they are in a tag team for a reason.

TNA doesn't have a thread and it's semi E-related, but guessing Jordynne and Hendry for Rumble confirmed since she lost her title match and he DIDN'T win his.

Pretty tough to build a division and stories if they all suck on the mic...

I guess WWE should just not do it then. Split up all tag teams, end the division, cut all the guys who can't talk on the stick; or, do nothing, let the division remain weak, give them no time to build their characters, give them no time to get better communicating.

True but look at all the great teams of the past they all had managers that could do the talking for them, WWE has killed the manager role.

Horsemen= JJ Dillion

Road Warriors = Ellering

Demolition = Mr Fuji

Midnight Express = Jim Cornette

Paul E. Dangerously , Jimmy Hart, Bobby Hennan etc... the list goes on and on

Guess so. You're the one that said there's a reason they are in a tag team, not me.

Raw and SmackDown are not the level that you train and develop people. And, yeah, maybe they should cut people. They already got too many people. Take Blair Davenport for example. She was called up at the draft and has made like 2 appearances.

Sorry, I just don't agree that having a #1 contender tournament is them building feuds or creating stories. It's a way to hide "filler" matches

Speaking of tag teams does Jade Cargill still suck that much that they can't have her on her own?

Jey is such a good promo when they actually let him talk (which is not nearly enough). Really hoping the Usos as a team (with Roman) ends at War Games. Really delicate time for Jey's singles career right now.

If they are truly pushing the tag division, having the Usos involved would be the best thing for it.

If you keep them separated, what do you with Jimmy?

The War Raiders are going to be the new tag champions, aren't they?
