A rare ‘“should I or shouldn’t I” purchase this box this week; 2023-24 Topps Basketball is unlicensed this year, but Wembanyama is licensed with Topps, and he signed cards inserted in this Product ( so I bought one )

If you sell the ‘going nowhere but down’ boxes, they’re still worth something to someone on eBaY~ and you’ll be freeing up space and getting cash to buy boxes you really want.

I stashed 6 of these boxes away and I like the idea that they are the only tamper resistant wax packs before 1989. The fact that they were the first tamper resistant packs and only showed up in the Michigan area is pretty cool. As unopened wax packs get more valuable I think collectors will be more concerned about tamper resistant packs. Personally, I would love to buy a 70's unopened wax box to gamble for that big name high grade card, but knowing how easy it is to open and reseal a pack makes me apprehensive to do so. I wish 70's and before unopened wax packs had tamper resistant packs available which would make them much more safer to invest in. This is why I've been investing in the 1983 Micihgan Test boxes because of their safety feature.
