Safe to say were out of the batting slump now? The couple 2-1 wins didn't instill a lot of confidence in me but it does feel like were getting back to where we were to start out. Hoping we can close the gap on Philly by the All Star break so we don't have to big of a hill to climb in the second half.

Ozzie has been facing a lot of LHPs lately and raking as always from the right side.

It could be something, or it could be precautionary and roster manipulation. The only report I've seen is nothing more than he said the arm was a little more sore than normal.

Also not saying anything sketchy is going on, but it sounds like Waldrep didn't report any extra soreness until after he was told that he was being sent down.
Maybe the players are learning to game the system? IL=MLB service time

Won't be seeing Ray Kerr any time soon. Headed for Tommy John.

I went to the Thursday game against the White Sox…..

I had seats right behind the right field wall and the weather was perfect, but the actual game stunk. I had a close up look at Ozuna almost hitting a three run shot (Pham making a great play) and Andrew Vaughn’s double went right where my wife was sitting. We also had a close up look at the Braves bullpen. Seats, tailgating with fans and White Sox staff were great so it wasn’t a total waste.

AJSS making his first rehab start tonight. Hopefully they get him back after the all star break to complete the 6 man rotation

Dumbest pick up ever. Sorry, not interested in the inevitable Rosario/Duvall platoon we are going to get.

Duvall has been beyond miserable against righties (a couple good games do not feel me w confidence) and Wall shouldn’t be anything but a last resort/pinch runner. It’s low/no risk anyway and it’s Eddie

Oh, I wasn't saying I wanted Duvall out their either. This isn't 2021 anymore. Adam and Eddie aren't Jesse Chavez. I want them to go get an every day right fielder and not make Kelenic move all over.

Wall was sent down for Eli White, but honestly I'd take Wall trying to bunt for a hit every time over any of the rostered options.

And I'll continue saying it, this team needs to move on from Arcia. I said it after the playoff series and I will stand firm on it.

Bottom of the order is so, so bad. In fact… Duvall, White, Wall, Arcia have been so bad that people aren’t talking about Murphy haha

Murphy's been a lot better the last two weeks after a disastrous first 17 games.

At this point, I'm all for Nacho getting a shot

In another absolute screw job, Jesse Chavez isn't named an all star.

Murphy really came through last night! Eddie came up clutch as well. Elder threw a great game too. Stupid time zones gonna be tired at work today but was worth it.

It's a complete joke, but it's been that for a long time. It's never been about actually honoring the best players of the first half of the year.

And hitting righties. Still don't know if I'm sold on them rolling with the Duvall/Eddie platoon.

Whatever they did to Adam, can they do it to Arcia? Hitting .129 over that last 28 days. And the defense has been lacking.

We’ve now been shutout 4 times in a month or so. Before that it was over a year. Yikes.

Schwellenbach with another very good outing, that's two in a row for him. Giving them innings, helping keep both the rest of the rotation and the bullpen fresh.

as good as his last few starts have been not sure how he stays in the rotation post AS Break with Ian Anderson burning down the minors. I can see Schwellenbach and Shawver moving to the bullpen to get them innings in case they are needed later in September or a spot start in the post season.

Ian would take over the 6th spot in the rotation. And either Spencer or AJSS is sent down. Ian is at 12 innings over 4 starts at the two lowest levels in baseball. I don't think his return is going to be that soon.
