Just got all my Blaster boxes and my hobby case delivered. Getting the penny sleeves ready now to rip. I think I am going to rip the blasters first. Anyone know if you can pull autos from the blasters?

WOW, I ripped 12 blaster boxes. Hit an auto 3 packs into box 1 and did not hit another auto the rest of the way. Blasters do not look like they will produce many autos.
Time for the hobby case |

Wow, that’s a huge drop off from last year. I was hitting autos 1 in 3 blasters and almost got a #’d refractor in every blaster. However there was so much paper base (not chrome), so maybe it evens out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My take on the first hobby case I opened.
GOOD- Cards look great. Lots of nice parallels and inserts. The Invictas are very cool. I don't think they print autos on the Invictas but if they did, how nice would that be? GOOD- I hit 2 Big Kahunas (Anthony Richardson & Spencer Sanders)I thought they may be one per case so if that's the case, then I made out. BAD- I did not hit 1 top tier QB auto which is pretty disappointing. You think in an entire case, there would be 1 Levis, or 1 Stroud, or 1 Young, or 1 Richardson auto, but there were zero. The best QB autos I pulled were JJ McCarthy & Cameron Rising. McCarthy DID sign with the smiley face ![]() All in all, a fun rip for the price point. I feel like buying a second case would almost certainly result in landing a top QB auto or 2, or maybe a Caleb Williams auto, but shelling out another $1300?? ![]() My take on 12 Blasters I opened: GOOD- Good value for the price as far as parallels, etc...still a fun rip. BAD- Pulled an auto 3 packs into first blaster and did not pull another one in the remaining 11 blasters, so if you are searching for autos with blasters, you probably will not be happy. What's the better buy, a Hobby box or a blaster? Let's say you have $125 to spend. That will get you about 5 blasters for a total of 140 cards(with little chance for autos and no Invictas) or 1 hobby box for a total of 96 cards- 2 of them guaranteed to be autos, and 1 of them guaranteed to be a Hobby exclusive Invicta. In my mind, at this low price point, it is way more of a value to buy 1 hobby box instead of 5 Blasters. I will not be buying any more blasters in this product, hobby boxes only for me from here on out. So that's how I made out on my first bunch. I have 5 more hobby boxes arriving tomorrow, I will update this with any good hits from that bunch. How did everyone else make out, and what do you guys think? I have been on record as saying Topps seems to have ramped up the printing presses this year so it will be tougher to pull a big name QB. I will stick with last years version as opposed to this, better value last year i believe |

Just checked Ebay, people are giving these cards away price wise. Selling Stroud, Levis, and Young Invictas for $5 & less. Makes no sense, it's only 1 invicta per box, and you are not guaranteed to hit a top QB, so these should be relatively more scarce, or sell for a bit more,no??
I am scooping some up at those prices. |

Some cases of this are loaded, but I’ve now seen more than a few with NO big name QB autos. All evidence suggests to a higher print run this year. Still, cards are beautiful, checklist is solid overall, and I love college football.

Same thing happens in Baseball with the Bowman Invicta’s. They’re just not sought after, if the Invicta’s were 35pt-55pt thickness instead of 75pt and had a lava refractor finish on the base then maybe people would clamor for them, but as it is they don’t. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Personally I found Invictas were 2 to a box but regardless of that, TMC is right. The overly thick card is a turn off despite the nice design.
The 1952s are fantastic and I'd take those over the Ramblin and Invicta all day. |

My bad you are correct- it is 2 to a box for Invicta. I like the 1952 too

A couple people mentioned being interested in buying complete sets. I already threw together 1 and probably will be able to throw together a couple more at least. PM me if interested

Collation is definitely a thing. Noticeable sequencing in packs, too. Big name qb's typically accompanied by Addison. Thanks for the headsup on the blasters. Think I'll avoid going that route. Looks like I may have become the newest Jaxson Dart superclecter against my will. Kool-Aid rainbow progress: 0.73% complete.
