New program Friday, probably gonna be a 2 week program leading up to Finest. Joe Nathan is one of the bosses which I’m very excited about

Interest in the game seems to have tanked, no surprise with MLB almost done and Madden/football season going strong.

Will say I like the art for the new Finest cards coming tomorrow, and interested to see the new collection card.

That said, saved all my packs from all the various programs and just finished main.

Won't bother posting names of diamonds unless over 10k, since there are like a million of them now lol

That was definitely more palatable...nothing exciting since headliner values have tanked with the rest of regular diamonds but oh well

But yeah interest has tanked but as to be expected when it’s November. Finest tomorrow, WS program next week

Really excited for Finest Jhoan Duran. Another card for the twins theme team.

Then other than that, they’ll have a few more weeks of content and it’ll wrap up near Christmas time as usual

Enjoyed the game this year, much more than 21. 20 still holds a place in my heart that’ll never be touched

By the time this game rolls around come March/April, I’ll have bought myself a PS5 so I can’t wait to actually use stadium creator

Ohhhh there's a Finest of the Franchise 99 Buxton as a collection reward. Haven't seen the attributes yet but this might finally be the juice Buck we've been waiting all year for

Edit - and a Classic Finest Jorge Polanco as a program henchman! Couple new final iteration Twins to be working with, love it!

Anyone still playing at this point? I have surprised myself with how much time I've spent lately. Already done with full main program progression, have all the side programs except for the last bit of Finest done (not counting extreme). I don't have Rollins/Mantle yet so been making some progress on those and starting to get fairly close. I'm historically almost exclusively an offline player, but have tried out battle royale lately for the rewind packs (helps so much with the collections), and surprisingly have been able to hang with most players I get matched up with. Even have had a few 3+ win streaks, topped out at 5 which I'll take every time

Current goals are to get to 100 in the BR reward path for the packs/cards, then will go back to finish off the Finest program, and at the same time mix in more Twins to continue seeing how many I can PXP to super

One last featured program coming next week. I really hope before the end of this game that they add in some more conquest maps with repeatable rewards. Something between USA (good but just takes forever) and the mystery map (nice and quick but the same 3 teams gets really old) would be really nice

I'm still playing daily...although definitely a lot less since content is winding down

Halfway through main program...just finished Finest showdown and halfway through that

Only 60k pxp to finish off Extreme

Other than that have all collections but Shohei done...

I actually agree with you on BR...I am pretty bad at ranked, but was surprised at being able to win just enough. I've been able to compete the last 3...unfortunately I didn't think it'd be worth it to try the whole game cycle and missed out on saving soooo many stubs lol

Hopefully the new Inning Boss rewing coming up will drop the 3 expensive Takashi cards

Other than that, grinding ranked Innings for Randy and hoping they drop a BR rewind program so I can get the last Walter Johnson

For me I've figured out it's entirely dependent on the opposing pitcher. BR I've done surprisingly well, but nobody takes better than a gold pitcher. Hopped over to events to see about getting to a few more rewind packs, and I'm complete trash there. I have absolutely no idea how anyone catches up to 102 fastballs, never mind recognizing when an offspeed is mixed in

BR is also nice that there's missions rather than only getting progression from wins. I haven't once run into someone in events this year that has offered to quit in exchange for PXP, whereas that was super common last I played in 2020

In ranked there are plenty of games I'm completely overmatched in, but I'm able to get some wins thanks to the rating adjusting over time. Ranked is so tedious though. It's nice that only innings matter for that path, but it takes 45 min absolute minimum to get through a game. To get to 250 innings just doesn't sound fun at all

Big reason why I'm NMS and usually grind solely offline.

I think Mini seasons was a HUGE positive step this year, although I've seen numerous people "complain" about the lack of rewards/new cards offered..

I think if they added some kinda mission/pxp for the events that'd be awesome...but not sure how that'd work with them being shorter than BR.

My only complaint, and a small one I guess...is with all the free packs late in the game, they basically tanked the value of every card.

While it's good to help people get caught up for collections, kinda takes the excitement/value from opening Headliner packs if you only get 10k for them
