That being said... it took a career night for Eric Gordon and PJ Tucker to win this game... so I don’t feel there is a reason to panic. Gotta just handle business in Oracle the next two games and don’t give home court advantage back....
wait what...27 pts for Gordon and 22/7 for Tucker are career nights?

umm

Tucker had 2 games against Utah with 15/6 and 19/6...and was coming in shooting something like 45% from 3...so..umm yeah

Gordon..has scored 27 or more points 11 times this season...so again..to call it a career game is...well..

they certainly picked up the slack for Paul/Harden..but just imagine if they were on their game and how bad it wouldve been

Ariza and Tucker shot 15/18 from the field combined.
Tucker and Gordon shot 11/15 from 3 pt land combined.

Maybe not career highs but those are “career night” numbers for sure. How many times have they shot better?

They certainly picked up the slack since Harden and Paul weren’t playing well.

If Paul/Harden weren’t shooting so horribly, Gordon, Tucker and Ariza wouldn’t have been able to score so many points. There’s a finite number of possessions and shots available in any game. Unless you think the Rockets were gonna put up 165 points tonight?

Calm down my friend... I meant to say PLAYOFF career highs. Y'all love to be on the attack even at a fan who's accepting his team played like poop. This is why I usually don't bother posting on here....

Seems like a lot of you never watched Gordon play (the best bench scorer alongside LouWill).

He's shot over 55 percent from 3 8 times this year and 50 percent or better more times than I can count.

Tucker actually has more games shooting 50 percent or better from 3 than Gordon.

Strong cope from GS fans.

i wasnt trying to attack you per say...just thought it was a poor choice of words..

you gave them credit for playing as a better team..but then turn around and said those 2 basically had to have career nights for them to win...

i mean thats almost a backhanded compliment no?

Not sure you can do math?

15/18 is 83%
11/15 is 73%

Who’s talking about 50%? The numbers I posted are 83% from the field and 73% from 3 pt

I’m neither a Warriors fan or a Rockets fan. That being said, I think Houston +220 to win the series is pretty good value at this point. I don’t think the role players can shoot 80% again but I like money and I think there’s enough value there to warrant a shot. Rockets are right there with the Warriors.

not sure what exactly it is that your trying to pick at here as its seems your trying to cherry pick and combine players and stats to fit your narrative...

if they have shot roughly 50% from 3 before, seperately...why is it so shocking that they combined to hit an awesome 2 more shots a piece to up it to 75%...

was it a great performance..yes, was it needed, yes...shocking? not really imo

i hope both CP3- seen favoring his lower leg and Curry- something seems to be off...can stay healthy because this is on pace for a great series so far

I presented actual stats from the game tonight. Facts. If you don’t want to accept that the role players shooting tonight was an outlier and your rebuttal is that “well it’s almost the same as 50%, give or take a couple shots here and there”, then we’re done here. I used facts. You used a hypothetical. End of debate. Moving on to Game 3. I have Rockets +220 to win the series. Who’s with me?

it has been presented as a fact...that Tucker was coming into this series shooting over 45% from 3..so yes close to 50%..

im not sure about Gordon, as hes been hit or miss..but yes when hes on hes on..

outlier? sure..but again people saying it was career nights and that are shocked that it happened..

why? its not like Gordon and Tucker were coming in shooting 20-25% from 3's and just all of a sudden got hot...

that was my only point

Glad it wasn't a sweep! Missed the 2nd and 3rd quarter tonight but the Warriors seemed off. Gordon was impressive. Noticeably more passing on the Rockets side too.

We might just see 2-2 in both conferences.

Houston are a dangerous squad. I think they get one in GS.

Made up for last game where they were abysmal and Harden/Paul were good and tried to carry. The truth is in between. Should be a good series.

The real warrior / rocket fans are never talking the loudest here. The ones do are -

Bandwagoners from both sides
Warrior Haters
Curry Haters
Durant Haters
Cleveland Fans
Lebron Fans

So win or lose, there will be the same amount of posts from the real Warriors fans but you may not notice because they are drowned out by the guys that belong to the "others" category.

I'm still standing by the Warriors in 6.

Golden State was sloppy and careless, which they tend to do one or two games per series.
