Thank you for this.....

It's always funny to watch people forget about the past and trip over the same victim of the moment trap over and over again.

Glad some people still remember.

To be fair, the Dream was only doing a lot of that against scrub David Robinson, not Naz Freakin Reid!

Yeah I also think it'll be Dort. OKC may also be an interesting trade partner for KAT if they can get contracts to match.

SGA-Giddey-J Dub-Chet-KAT would be a lot of fun to watch. I see no weaknesses offensively.

And don't forget other feeble athletes like Shaq, Dikembe Mutombo, Alonzo Mourning, and Patrick Ewing.

You have to start somewhere! Sort of like the game Kung Fu on the original NES. Work up to the final boss, Naz Reid!

Is the league ready for Ivey feeding the Wiseman-Wembanyama twin towers?

I feel like OKC is going to see how the lottery goes and if they can buy their way up. If not, I could see this type of trade.

No bad missing 2 out of your top 3 scorers. The biggest difference is defense. I believe I heard last night the lakers have the 3rd best defense since Russ was traded and you can see it while watching the games.

Defense down the stretch has been outstanding.

I know Vando gets a tremendous amount of love and rightfully so, but Rui is such a pleasant surprise.

Gotta keep this thing rolling. Raptors are playing much better after getting Poeltl.

Oof, man that's tough. I think Dort is one of their best defender and seems like a natural fit right next to SGA. Seems like they have plenty of guys that can pass, create and score buckets.

Feel like the Lu is a necessary ingredient to all these high octane scoring young teams.

If there was another big near the top I could see that. Chet is not a 5, unless he's been packing on a ton of muscle while injured, that's what will complete them. I don't think they can trade their way up to Victor... everyone else near the top is a pg or wing. With the emergence of Jalen Williams, they're really pretty set there.

Plus SGA and Chet's skillsets would seemingly be a perfect fit with KAT. SGA plays within the perimeter mostly, and Chet should be an elite weakside help defender, who can help with KAT's lackluster rim protection.

Reason I say this is because Jalen Williams has really blossomed and his defense seems to be trending to where Dort is. Then you have Wiggins coming off the bench and he typically is the main defender for the second unit.

Dort also has the second largest contract on the team, so he just seems to be the candidate in a trade if they want a bigger player back, since you wouldn't trade SGA.

That would be the perfect scenario for KAT.

He's great as a #2 option. Probably his best fit. Add Chet's defense and spotlight to that and he could thrive in OKC.

That's a scary lineup when healthy. And I'm not even that high on Chet.

Default Dort for JC

Vecenic suggested Dort for JC and if that was available the Hawks should jump on that now that they have Bey and how Jalen has improved.

I think KAT would obviously be the best match for them but I don't know how they match salaries for him.

It's definitely a nice problem to have. You can never have too much talent, especially when most are under rookie scale contracts. It's really tough keeping Jalen off the floor with how well he makes the team around him. I'd probably keep Lu and see how he fits in with the rotation for now, these Dillon Brooks, Marcus Smart archetypes are always handy.

SGA/Lu/Williams is going to be a menace with more reps.

Yep, even without Chet hitting near his potential ceiling that would be an exciting/scary club. Many different ways to hurt you, multiple shooters, multiple playmakers.

His added size and agility has been a plus. He can create off his own dribble and hit the mid range jumper. I just hope he doesn’t get lazy and settle for 3s. Lakers have a well rounded team now. I just want to see every one available for a playoff run. I guess wanting everyone 100% is out of the question but just be able to play. The last 2 seasons have really be hampered by injuries. The team as it stands now may be better then the 2020 title team but if Lebron and/or ad isn’t available it doesn’t really matter.

This is what, year 3 of suggesting JC trades? They need to hire him a shooting tutor more than they need to trade him. We also finally got a real HC. I wouldn't drastically alter the lineup immediately. I don't see a fit with Minny for KAT, unless we really want to move JC at his lowest value. But even then, KAT and Capela won't work, we've seen the blueprint with watching him try and work with Gobert. KAT would work best next to a defensively-able 4 who can help him with rim protection. Hence why I suggested OKC next to Chet.

Warriors really missing Mike Brown....their defense has fallen apart without him running it, and he's the front-runner for the Coach of the Year with what he's done up the road in Sacramento.

LMAO.

So salty Embiid and co kicked your boy's ass at home. Can't wait to see him do it again in Philly.

Tell me again how great your 16 game win streak was over injured and tanking teams.

Bucks fans when they realize that now they'll just have that NBA Championship they won 21 months ago to make them feel okay about things:

Yeah, It may be short lived due to AD's durability but whew. Those defensive numbers are giving me 2020 flashbacks.

Imagine comparing The Dream to Joel "Dream He Plays a Full Season" Embiid.
