Yeah, actually looks like they are starting to process orders. I didn't know they didn't charge the full order initially and when they went to charge for my Chronicles preorders, they were declined because my paypal doesn't have funds anymore.

Customer service is down so I had to type an email to them and hope they can help me out. Not holding my breath but feeling reallllly smart right now lol.

Yeah I had them charge me originally just so I wouldn't be declined later if allocation was lower than expected. I sent them the email as well and they responded back with the prepared response.

We'll see what happens in the next few days.

So now both of the Walmarts near my office have replaced the card sections with Goya products at one and hand sanitizer at another.

I guess they got sick of the flippers fighting over the product and hanging around....great.

Went to my local Walmart for the first time in a month. The whole card section completely wiped out. It was amazing. Even took the Baseball Gallery and Heritage thats been there for months.....Well almost everything. There was about 50 fatpacks and 20 blasters of Football Score. Even the f#ckbois know better then to grab that crap.

I don't think this is true at all. Stock has either been zero or dramatically reduced at every place that got it last week.

So I just missed out on everything at my local Walmart. I saw the stocker and I just walked by to look at the shelves.

She looked at me and said, “Are you looking for basketball?” I told her I was and she was super sweet.

She said, “I’m so sorry. A guy just came in and bought every box we had, over $1000 worth of it.”

Not sure if this store got it last week or not but she told me that the other store wasn’t stocked yet and when the other girl would likely stock it.

Very kind of her to initiate the conversation with me about the cards and for her to be so helpful. So who knows if I will ever get any retail around here again. I used to have no problem getting it, but someone seems to be wiping it out every time it’s stocked now.

At least I still do well buying singles online and flipping!

I don’t see much wrong with a customer asking a manager if they have excel stock in the back for the following reasons:

1) Manager will likely ration, rather than have it taken out in 1 swoop by a single buyer
2) Fair chances for anyone to get it, rather than an excel rep being the gatekeeper. It’s gaurenteed that some, not all, of these reps are taking money under the table in exchange for giving friends/family/specific customers schedules of when they are stocking.

What really has me scratching my head is why these reps get all pissy when their boxes are opened. They get paid a commission on sold product whether they stock the shelf or a manager hands out product when a customer asks.... why else would they be angry? My conclusion is because they missed out on scheming a score of money or boxes themselves...

Certainly it's coming in. These are probably the most normal stock days. I don't think there's going to be enough to not have a correction to back where we are by Sunday morning though. Besides, for things like Megas and Blasters BO has already set the floor at $60 and $175.

This was basically my thought, granted I wasn't the one who initiated it. Besides, had I not joined in it would've just gotten split 3 ways instead of 4. I also think it's pretty likely that he only gave us the box with the Megas and not the rest of the stuff so whenever the shelves did stock someone else also probably got some if it wasn't being backdoored. Seemed pretty likely that the reason the rep left without stalking was because she was waiting for someone particular to be there to get it all though, so I don't feel bad at all.

Found a full tray at my walmart today while rep was stocking. Last week the walmart had 4 trays and one guy bought it ALL. So since I found some today, decided to take most of it as I plan on ripping, and left a little bit for next guy hoping it was a collector as well as 2 full displays of topps chromes. As I was leaving the card section, I see the guy who bought it all last week and he had the nerve to give me attitute for taking the stuff he wanted LOL. Normally I would split it, but he took 4 full trays last time while laughing about it and talking to him I knew he was clear reseller. As I was leaving I see him talking to rep for a good 20min while I see he bought everything else I left and pretty much anything you can resell.

Moral of story. Don't leave anything because these resellers will just continue week after week looking to buy everything up even after clearing out 4 full display trays the previous week as well as Topps chrome which barely has much resell value

I was about to say he took the chrome to resell? Lol there’s barely anything there for resale value. Whenever I’ve went to look I’ve seen multiple people on their phones the last 8 months, you know they’re checking sell values on these things when they’re doing that.

Go to search and just type in basketball cards for sale, then if you scroll down it should say marketplace, click that and you can check out what people have near you.

Nothing when I went to my Walmart, but that isn't a shock based on what times they typically restock. I only live 5 minutes away so I will head there again in a few hours to see. I just think Chronicles is such a fun rip

That or trying to get money on the spot through cash apps because they don't have enough funds or don't want to hold it long - not even for a second after ringing it up

It's super thin anyway. You can probably get $30 for a Blaster and $60 for a Mega. After fees and the slight uptick in Walmart prices you have to be doing crazy volume to be that far ahead. Maybe some of these guys are smart and are holding until the product dries up? But my guess is that's spreading a lot of them rather thin when they could be using funds to buy up Chronicles.
