Well good season everyone....

Made my first round of drops and deciding on next year

For sure keepers
Yordan Alvarez (round 14 next year)
Lucas Giolito (round 13 next year)
Carlos Rodon (round 15 next year)

Then its a mix of the following below - Leaning Reyes and India... but Suarez has done amazing the 2nd half as a SP and Torres has great value and hopefully cound bounceback... who knows may change my mind - but heres my tradeblock

Then have some weird options

Round 14 - Gleybor Torres
Round 15 - Alex Reyes, Ranger Suarez, Shane Baz, Jonathan India, Brendan Rogers

I think we still have the rule where a player has to debut in the majors to kept. You can go ahead and cross out Witt/JRod

Starting to look at getting this up and running for another year. Here was last year's timeline-

Payments due: Thursday, Feb 25
Keepers due: Friday, Feb 26
Draft starts: Saturday, Feb 27 (can start on 2/26 if no issues with payments/keepers)

We'll plan on following a somewhat similar timeline this year. I'd like to hold off a few weeks before accepting payments so we can hopefully get a better idea of what's going on with the CBA and move things back if needed. Tricky balance, I want us to be able to draft after the lockout ends so everyone can see the remaining FA signings and trades before we start, but I also definitely want the draft completed before the season starts. So I think we just hold tight a week or two and circle back then to see what we think the best course of action may be

For now, you can let me know if you're in for another year or not. I'll get PMs out to everyone in the next week or two just looking for a commitment to 2022, and will set up LeagueSafe and start collecting payments after that

I don't think we had any rule changes to go over this offseason, someone remind me if I'm wrong. The only things that come to mind are discussing changing the point values to try to even the valuations back out, but that's such a big change I can't really ever advocate for it when we're so far in. It just is what it is at this point

I think we were gonna talk about rolling back the IR spots eventually. It seems with the 10 day DL thou we should probably keep it as is with the extended use of it.

I am cool with the scoring system as is... Points leagues usually favor elite pitchers.

We need to replace the owner(s) that ghosted the team after the draft thou. I think that is 2 years in a row...
