For those who held onto their 2024 Bowman Sapphire BB boxes, it paid for this year's and next year's memberships. Possibly even an additional year.

Really crazy that as sealed box prices go up single prices go down. Seems like the only game now is to buy on release and then hold as noted in an earlier posting.

The discrepancy between singles and wax is the worst it's ever been. Obviously buying random spots in breaks the odds become even worse. Countless products you can hit a lottery odds chance card and for most people it's only worth a few months salary at best. If you think baseball is bad it isn't a fraction as bad as basketball and football.

If you bought every product at release in all sports and held over the last year you would be getting absolutely annihilated. For every 1 new product that has went up a good amount, like Bowman Sapphire, you have 8-10 that have gone down. Some way down. I'm not sure how it would work out waiting a few weeks for those products to go down and then holding them. Maybe that would be ok but even that is mostly because of the lack of new products coming out this year. Overall buying at an artificially manipulated preorder price/at release price and holding sealed is like most things in the current hobby. As bad of a gamble as anything out there with very little upside.

Yes, obviously my comment was not referring to all products. Really have to be selective and lucky to hold the right products. Bowman Sapphire the past two iterations were good. Topps Chrome Sapphire the past several years, not so good.

Brooklyn is one of the last sets I have on my "buy a box every year they make it" list and this design is going to threaten its spot. I'm down to Series 1, Finest Flashbacks, Brooklyn, and Stadium Club with Finest Flashbacks likely getting the ax due to how cheap the singles are and Brooklyn now looking to follow with the bad auto design and also low singles prices.

I don't know. I flipped my BB Sapphire for a $155.86 profit. Membership cost me $158.99. I'm feeling pretty good about it.
