I literally asked the seller what they wanted me to do and, again, offered to do the return through their account from Topps and they instead wanted me to do a partial refund on the one box. The seller literally has a link in their account to do the return from the order.
You said there was no form anymore, I’m just pointing out there is one. I don’t really care about anything else you said.

Like I said, even if they're selling for $600... Shave off ~16% for Ebay fees and another $10 to ship it flat rate priority. Now you're sitting on like $23 of profit after taxes?

And if you're selling on Facebook or whatever, then you can't expect people to pay $600. Maybe $530? And now you're making a whole $40 of profit trying to find a buyer, but only if they're willing to send you Friends & family?

Seems like a lot of effort for a very small return.

The cases don't have a ton of underlying value. 1/3 of the hits are compelling prospects, and the top two are going to top out at maybe $250 for their sapphire auto?

So you're backed into flipping because the average break is going to return like $175?

5.25 minutes, including a couple back-and-forth messages, for $50 is a lot of time and effort?

Pretty sure the vast majority of BO users net less from one hour of work.

Loooool the only thing weirder than people like Rubin, who's entire purpose and life is on acquiring capital to flip companies, extract value, and to leave someone else holding the bag, is that he's created a steady supply of minions that are impressed by him.

I don't care what you can "flip" these boxes for, the pricing is a joke for the majority of collectors who don't care about the quick flip. This is out of hand.

Why do you use 16%? I just sold a sealed case on eBay of a product for $1,800 - with my top seller discount my fees were 11.14%

5% in this case would double your $23 number+.

I'm not even arguing for buying flipping as their is still risk involved no matter how much time it takes. I'm just curious what made you pick specifically 16%

Pretty crazy considering 2019 Bowman Draft Super Jumbos can be had for the same price

That's every Bowman product though. And it's been getting steadily worse since 2017. Nobody is forced to buy, but if you can make money off it then why not do it? I understand not everyone sells, but again... there is no gun to anyone's head to make the purchase

I find it interesting that they just sent a “reminder” email about Bowman Sapphire being available to Montgomery Club members. That is a first I think. Never have seen a reminder email. Maybe lots of members opting out.

Hmmm, 1 Jumbo case of Bowman, or 1 2009 Bowman Draft Trout BGS 9.5 auto?

https://ebay.com/itm/404999695384

Wax prices are ridiculous.

You used Trout prices to argue how wax prices are ridiculous?!

The soon-to-be 33-year old has only hit a total of 93 homeruns over the last 5 years.

I know his prices have already fallen significantly over the last couple years but that downward trend is far from over.....still a lot of room left for Trout prices to fall.

Should've used someone else....literally anyone else....to make your point.

Exactly nobody wants to pay $13 a base single the greed is just absurd just as much as they ruined the Montgomery Club…these boxes should be $199.99

I don't care about making money off of it, and I have purchased maybe 1 box of Bowman in the last 3 years, so I am not being forced or pressured into getting my crap pushed in. The prices are out of hand, thats all. It sucks for collectors like myself, who enjoyed cracking a few boxes, as I really liked the Bowman line. I have adapted, but I can still complain about it, bc it is ridiculous. Nothing more...nothing less

Standard fee works out to about 14%. 13.25% base, but you pay fee on any taxes and shipping the buyer pays as well. In my experience that usually works out to 13.9-14%.

No dude. He is the absolute dream of a ceiling that any 18 year old found in those Bowman boxes could hope to be.

Why anyone would sell these on ebay is beyond me. They fly off of Myslabs at around 5% fees

Agreed. Actually less than that! 32 total cards with 3 parallels and an auto! Don't you get that and more out of a flagship Jumbo box?? Those are $169-$179. And you get 400 total cards!!!

Sapphire has a smaller checklist, but yes I agree with you from the price standpoint

They are, but you can only sell the Trout once whereas a breaker can flip the Jumbos into a good bit more without that much work or they can hold it. It's got instant profits built in.

Exactly - wax is for breakers now. It's strange how fast that took hold. Some of us hosted group breaks all the way back in 2010. Cards Infinity has been opening product forever. Only recently has group breaking pushed individuals out of opening wax.

Why are you paying 16% in ebay fees? It’s 13.5%. And why aren’t you passing the shipping cost onto the buyer? So there’s another $10.
Or just post the wax on MySlabs where it’s a little over 5.5% since shipping is included.
