Edit: I am not a DR, but just saw the Chiefs trainer announce he was at the facility all weekend getting after rehab. Anyone with any knowledge of this injury, wouldn't it make sense for him to just chill for a couple days before rehabbing? Good lord.

FWIW, if there are no bone & ligament fragments which can form loose bodies, management is knee immobilization for a week to 10 days. With slow mobilization, full recovery occurs in 3-6 weeks. I am assuming they did not find any associated ligament injury and bone fragments which could have prolonged the recovery. Ligament injury and loose bodies (from bone/ligament fragments) often require Arthroscopic procedure and recovery could take 10-12 weeks.

EDIT: The way I look at it is this is good in a way for two reasons 1. They will be cautious and not risk such things in the future 2. It also allows time for his ankle to heal.

I sent an offer because that's how I am, it ended up selling at full BIN a bit later. Surprised Burbank had an actual nice card, I'm used to only seeing 90s era stuff from them.

Once in a while you can find some cheap low end base or something. I usually don't buy that but do occasionally. Example - picked up a bunch of Watson Mystique last week for $1 each. May be a waste of money but Mahomes is $80 raw and Watson was $1...There's always a chance...

I'm looking at getting Mahomes, but if I'm spending $500 on a football card, why not get a Metal 2000 Brady? $1,000+, why not a Bowman Chrome Brady?

I agree on some of the rookies. Crazy thing is my 2002 Brady's have actually gone down quite a bit over the last year. No clue why but pretty disappointing. I was only missing about 30 out of the 377 before I gave up trying to get all the 2002's.

Imagine though long term if Brady gets one more Super Bowl in February? He would have 7 championships which would be one more than Michael Jordan. He would be the all-time modern sports goat.
Mahomes is good but it might be safer to go with the blue chip Tom Brady.

I guess it just depends on your motive. If you want a safe investment that should slowly increase over time, Brady is the guy. But people want get rich quick cards. That's why Mahomes, Mayfield, Rosen, etc are so high when they come out. There's always a chance...
