They still sell, some people don't care about the rares stuff. And to a point, depending on the line, I don't either. I'd grab random horror ones before I started getting too many of the same ones.

Yeah Pop collectors are their own breed. When I first started collecting I'd be pretty active in Facebook Groups but realized a lot of people just liked to complain about how expensive Pops are or try to get stuff for free or much cheaper than what they go for just because they can't justify paying the actual value. Now I just share mail days and post FS threads lol.

Struck out on Target exclusives on my lunch break (Only could visit one target but hey) but they had a full box of horror minis so I tried for a Pinhead... And struck out again. lol Maybe some day. I did get a Crow though. He's cool at least.

Yeah many extras lol I have regular Cthulhu, that Crow, werewolf, ed & shaun (shaun of the dead) annnnddd probably some others but that's all my brain's allowing for me to remember right now hah

I know Shaun and Ed I don't have. The Crow i believe I don't have and would want too. Give me a list when you have time and before you pack up the other 2 I might buy more off of you.

We left a note on the refund. There will be a detailed article on our facebook page explaining. Long story short, Funko didnt tell us that we could only order a limited amount. There exact words were "we had 2 weeks to order and they would only make what was ordered".

I'm completely new to this Funko phenomena, but some of these figurines look cool.

A quick search on ebay showed some eye popping prices for some of these things.

Are some of these long term investment pieces, or a fly by night frenzy like Beanie Babies?

Yeah, I emailed them and got this same response. They also said that they only got a case of each and would be limiting their preorders in the future.

Hard to say if they're long term or not, but they have better staying power than BBs did because they're beloved characters vs random animals. Any collectible is risky when it's big money. If you find yourself enjoying them then go for it, start small and build up. You can't predict too easily which ones (outside of limited ones) will be higher prices either. Tough to tell.

Found a couple places that are still taking preorders for the Cosmo Pop!. Of course, they might have the same issue that J&J had, but don't know it yet. Man of Action Figures still has them up, but the price and shipping kinda turned me off. These 2 places have them for under $15 with reasonable shipping:
