Got my wbc. 4 boxes, Soto orange auto /25, lubob /22 auto, bo Naylor auto and a tucker auto relic. Also got a 2006 sasaki gold /50 which looks really nice but has dinged corners

Those GU bases (?) are nice!

There are definitely sho autos in this, although it's unclear how SP they are. I actually think this is probably the best WBC product even though there are many (despite stickers).

That's super solid for less than the cost of a draft jumbo

Now that I think about it, 2006 WBC did have a bunch of really nice WBC products and sets released throughout the different brands. There were some incredible patch cards dropped that are kinda forgotten about, but overall I agree that this is very well done sans the stickers.

And the thing is, the base card design is excellent...better than most Topps flagship designs in recent years.

Can only hope it's also the 2024 flagship design....

Agreed. I also hit a 2006 ohtani. Didn't know this insert was pretty short printed. /145 according to a tweet I saw

Wouldn't go that far. It's still WBC and will be relatively niche when we look back on it (sho may be an exception, tbd).

I just have no desire to buy anything WBC at this point. I already own the most iconic card from the event, Ohtani/Trout Topps Now, and nothing else seems even close in comparison.

Maybe Topps saved their best for last for 2023? Some of the cards coming out of this product for $80 are just phenomenal. Hope BO has these at a decent price so I can pick a few more up.

Not my card - on eBay. I'm so glad these are stickers. On-card, I would have gone from in-heat to nuts.

/10, plus the nameplates and the other inserts autos, so there are probably 20-30 autos in the product line.

I wasn’t going to order any but I like the looks after seeing them in hand. I ordered 2 and hope for the best.

I was bearish on this at first. Really bearish...

Then I saw the cards, remembered how much I absolutely loved this year's iteration of the WBC and now have 16 boxes incoming. Will post results after ripping.

These are sneaky good for the relative price. I hate stickers as much as anyone, but there's so many other things going on in this product. Goodluck!
