Anyone actually reading my posts can clearly see that I can't possibly be a PBM. Yet in seemingly every thread I'm in, there's a cute little cult following me around with spears, putting words in my mouth at every opportunity, calling me names, telling me to shut up, simply for expressing my opinions.

Play nice and I'll play nice right back every time. But if you s*** on me at every possible turn, I'm not going to let you get away with it.
I believe it's a BO rule for every new member to be called a PBM by a certain number of other members because there's no way for someone to gain a new or renewed interest in cards for whatever reason and find this forum unless they were lying and had been collecting for years and were a member at BO in the past before being banned for whatever reason. They have been correct on occasion so that just emboldens them to call just about every new member that becomes active in posting a PBM. I will advise that if you stay on this aggressive, hostile path, you stand a good chance at at least getting a suspension (I've been there and done that. lol) because people will start reporting you, if they haven't already, to the mods. I was once suspended for typing a naughty word with asterisks replacing some letters, but it's not my site so I learned to follow the rules. Just look at all the PBM comments as sort of a hazing ritual and try to have fun with it and play it back on them. If you know you're not a PBM, isn't that all that truly matters? I'd love knowing I wasn't a PBM having while having numerous people sincerely believe I was. It would be fun messing with them, in a good-natured manner of course.

Peanut Butter Mustard...JK, it's Previous Banned Member. I was called PBM when I started collecting sportscards and joined this forum 1.5 years ago. I joined the forum mainly to understand the psychology of the market and collectors. There is a saying that if you want to know more about crooks, you have to live them. I have learned a lot over the past 1.5 yrs. There is lot of shadiness in the hobby because of the opportunity to make quick money. Few have tried to take advantage of me without knowing my back ground. Few think they have the best collection and are jealous of new members dropping big money. Blowout has lots of teenagers as members, which means immature comments. Also, there are not many educated people in this hobby because of the gambling nature of the hobby, which translates to immature and abrasive comments. People like to show off their collection but if someone else does, they call it pimping. People report you if you mention that your card is for sale in hobby forum and yet they do the same. People complain and attack that your ask price is high and yet it sells for more than the ask price on eBay. The list goes on and I call them the Blowout psychosis. Don't get me wrong, blowout has lots of great and honest members. This is a rough place and I have learned to ignore the noise and focus on the good side of blowout.

I forgot to add the disclosure: I will never consider myself an expert and behave as one even if I were in this hobby for 25 years. I am always learning...

I am looking to buy more but not many bargains to be found i.e., not much panic selling happening.

That 247 field silver BGS 10 was lowered from $2500 to $1500, definitely has got me thinking..

or you know, its completely obvious

create new account, and quickly just always post in the most "talked about" or prominent threads like the polarizing players (mahomes/zion) or trimming/grading issues. Rinse, repeat

Well said... you forgot one.. those PM's that start by saying you're card "isn't really that great" and that "It'll probably go down soon" before finally asking how much you want for it...

Well, certainly more than you sound like your're willing to pay...

I personally think the time to buy will be after the bye. I could be way off on this, but I really don't think he is coming back even after the bye. I think a lot of people expect him back for the LAC game and he isn't going to play IMO. Then bye week and then Oak which they should be able to handle at home without him. Realistically if the NE has no seeding implications he doesn't have to play there either. Assuming the Chiefs take care of the teams they should, I fully expect him to be out for a long time. As the time frame gets longer I expect a lot of people to get cold feet, especially those who bought on credit/paypal credit, etc... Just my opinion, take it as you may.

Until they feel they are in jeopardy of losing the division or there is a big seeding implication game he will just chill. Hell he could have a tune up game or two before the wildcard round but I don't expect much more. This is assuming of course the 2 seed isn't happening.

I feel like as soon as it's strictly pain management he will play....if they tell this kid that he could play against GB and not risk further damage by not resting he will play....just gotta make sure he is taken care of .. franchise

That’s the issue tho, if you don’t let things heal properly around the knee cap it will happen again. And the next time it happens he may not be as lucky to avoid ligament damage. The chiefs gain nothing if the two seed is out of reach to rush him back. Realistically you have to beat NE to go to where they want to go, so if that’s the divisional round or championship round so be it. I’d be shocked if he only misses 3 games and it won’t be because of pain management. I’m sure he will be fine in a couple days with pain, the issue with this is it happening again. Plus they want him to be confident and run around. Not sit stiff legged in a brace looking nothing like himself. When he comes back will be entirely based off the AFC playoff picture

I can't see him winning MVP missing 3 plus games. Unless he comes out tossing 5 TDs per game,it'll be someone else.

Somebody is buying every Russell Wilson auto rookie in site on ebay. Just started around 10pm last night and still going... good play/way to pass the time while we wait for Patty to get back up and running.

Damn.....just catching up from the game Thursday. A lot of weirdos in here.

Like arod said....kc will not rush him back any time soon. The division is weak so there is no need to put him in a situation where hes not fully healed.

My advice is for anybody looking to pick up Mahomes to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks....out if sight out if mind for the NFL
