Texans game looks tougher now after watching them destroy the Bills o-line.

Texans certainly have a top defense. It's going to be on the Chiefs defense to keep that game low scoring.

The good news: the game is in KC, where the Chiefs are 4-1. Only loss was to the Eagles week 2 without Rice and Worthy, which can't be called a terrible performance.

If they come out and dominate the Colts Sunday, I think they will be fine.

On the other hand, if they lose Sunday, they are in some serious trouble.

I really think we are going to see a good performance, especially from the defense, with a 10+ point win. For as good as Danny Dimes has been, I see him struggling this Sunday. If the defense can contain the run game, they will be fine against Jones.

You heard it here first!!!!!!!! KC by 10+

Not a red Prizm but still a cool one, always neat to see stuff you don’t normally see.

I am fortunate that almost all the Mahomes my son and I got were before 2020. Got this raw on a trip to Phoenix, although we had quite a bit from back then we haven’t been buyers of Mahomes for a while. It was so easy back then to find anything you wanted and not have to take out a loan to buy it.

There are lots of great cards from 18/19. I think I have read on here, when the RC costs two much there will always be a market for 2nd year cards.

That’s awesome! I agree, I think second year stuff will have a market like Jordan and LeBron cards

One thing the Chiefs have going for them down the stretch is that they are relatively healthy. Lots of other teams have guys out for the season or extended amounts of time. Look at Sam Laporta, out of nowhere he's out for the year. Just like that. Outside of an obvious season ender like Rice's injury last year, the Chiefs seem to avoid major injuries to key players. Mahomes seems to be in every game. Kelce seems to be in every game. Chris Jones is practically in every game. The only key guy missing time out of nowhere this year has been Simmons but that was non injury related. Yes Worthy missed time but it was an obvious injury that everybody could tell was going to be bad enough to miss games. Lots of these other teams have guys going down left and right without any obvious play leading to their injuries.

So if you're holding out hope, the Chiefs having titanium built players appears to offer some optimism down the stretch.

I agree, I love the rare stuff. That's one of the coolest cards I've seen posted here in a long time. Love the 5 rare patches/tags that it has, all on one card. To own a 1/1 of Mahomes from any year is an awesome thing.

I'm super thankful for the 3 SB's that Mahomes has brought home but let's be honest....unless the coaching staff / front office decides to actually get Mahomes a decent RB and stops depending on Mahomes to carry the whole team by himself....KC is cooked. You need a good RB game to help compliment the passing game. Every team knows we don't run. That's NOT a good thing.

If you would have told me at the beginning of the year that we'd be 5-5 with all of our WR's healthy, I would have laughed at you.

This sport is fickle. A lot of people including me have sunk a lot of money into Mahomes. The Chiefs aren't getting better...it's actually getting worse.

There's a reason why I sold my biggest Mahomes card and basically swapped it out for Ichiro's Ultimate rookie.

Unless something changes...there will be a ton of bag holders at the end of his career. I was talking to a good KC buddy of mine last night that has a phenomenal Mahomes collection....even he said...that it might be time to look at his PC and see what needs to go and what needs to stay.

The smart move is to take a good hard look at your PC and figure out what cards you absolutely want to keep and what you can live without. Don't feel guilty...it's the smart move.

That being said if and when his cards come down, I'll see what I can pick up but not at his current prices.

Don't let your loyalty hurt your wallet. It's ok to still absolutely love Mahomes but not be massively vested in Mahomes at the same time. Both can be true.
To date, I've sold only 2 of my Mahomes cards. I don't know if that will end up being a good or bad thing for me in the long run. Sold them right before the last Super Bowl, not because I had any idea that the Chiefs were going to get destroyed the way they did, but because prices were up, especially with the 3-peat hype. I wanted the money to put towards another auto, which I still haven't acquired yet.
One of the cards I sold was his Donruss Optic The Rookies. I literally got that card for free, and didn't really care much about it. And if I ever decide in the future that I can't live without one, there are a dozen to choose from on eBay every day of the week.
The other card I sold was his Select XRC. The only reason why I could get myself to sell that one was because I also have the Tie Dye, and in better condition.
It would be very difficult for me to part ways with most of the rest of my Patty collection. Although most of my cards aren't from the most valuable sets, many of them are extremely rare and would be pretty impossible to get back. Plus I bought most of my cards because I really like them, with no intentions of just flipping them.
I am definitely in it for the long haul, but there are a few of the more common cards I have that I might also sell to continue to put towards that auto. Even if Mahomes were to never make it back to another Super Bowl (which I doubt will be the case), I would hope that his prices won't ever totally crash after all he has already accomplished.

Thank you, picked it up on a trip to Arizona, I always try to pick up one card when we go on a trip, that card might now be the most expensive, but it has a lot of memories in it.

Post the tye die XRC, that is an awesome card, would love to see it.

It's do or die today for the Chiefs season. Still find it hard to believe they are in this situation...
