I'm aware of this. It's why I put in "other crap." If you pre-ordered any of the other sets, it's about the same price on secondary market. Same thing with Topps chrome. Additionally, I have almost no interest in Star Wars and Bundesliga. Again, I knew that going in. However, the first set that they sent out was rather disappointing. It was cheap. I'm sorry, but paying $200 to preorder sets that don't sell out quickly anyway, there's no benefit to that.

You got what you paid for. Two cheap sets that nobody really cares about. And early access to getting price gouged on wax, half of which isn’t even baseball.

I think Fanatics would be better served in the long run to create a tiered subscription service for wax. But they don’t seem to care right now because there are enough dopey breakers out there willing to buy whatever is offered to them.

For those who went through Fanatics support for your $50 credit, how long did it take them to give you a new code? I emailed 2 days ago without a response yet. I also did a chat last night, but the person told me they didn't have the authority to fix it and they would need to escalate my claim to the back office people, which could take 48 hours.

That's my thing. The early access didn't even include a discount more than $10. And, you could get the early access sets pretty much for the same price in the secondary market because the market for them isn't big. I get it why they include early access: it probably increases the demand for those non-baseball sets, but man, the value isn't there between what Montgomery charges and what they give. The value is like $50. It's not even like there's autos in chrome sapphire.

Even if they did, you'd have to buy all sets that they offer "early access" to and you still wouldn't come close to your value. Finest Flashbacks was I think $5 cheaper, chrome sapphire was maybe 10, and you figure Bowman Chrome sapphire will be similar? If Star Wars was $30, you're still short of over 100 in value with the garbage sets they gave out with 0 parallels or any chance at value. Star Wars sapphire I thought was $150, which is about where it's going for now on eBay.

I don’t really care about cheaper. I care about value and the Club just didn’t have much value this year. There’s an optimal price point between what they did in the past (really great price and short supply) and this year (really high price and too much supply).

Looks like the first complete 2023 set sold for $80. Not bad and half the buy in price. But I am sure set prices will plummet from there.

For those who used the $50 break credit, you have to enter your own credit card info first, and then have a chance to enter the promo when checking out? I just don’t want to accidentally actually spend my own money on that platform.

You enter the promo code on the last page so be careful. I actually made that mistake and customer service was cool enough to refund my $50

I still haven't had a resolution regarding my $50 code. I've done about 5 chats on Fanatics, and sent numerous emails to Fanatics and Topps support. My emails never get replied to and the people I chat with all say they cant help me. All because they were dumb and made the codes easy for people to guess. Very frustrating
