Nothing has shipped


It's very possible they are holding back everything which may have been what I was told but if they are they should certainly send out an official email to all of their customers.

Yea, I agree. My Pujols set came in a while ago it feels like lol. I can see them holding back Ichiro though, and I don't have a problem with that at all.

I agree--as long as we all have the same switch-over, I'm good with that.

Or if they do replacements with the new stock for the other cards, give that option to all of us.

There's no way to avoid having different card stocks for the same cards. If they try to complete some on only 1 type of stock it will take till Christmas 2019 and 10 more replacement cycles.

I don't see how it would be hard to avoid, but it is what it is

Ideally, I think that's what they should do. Obviously, they've been able to print some decent cards on the current stock. But they aren't asking me.

I'm thinking PSA 10s of these early cards are going to be nice to have in a couple years.

I've set a goal of getting the first 24 in PSA 10. I think that's attainable and I've got 5 down so far.

I might extend that to the "thin stock" era once those parameters are clear.

Topps still hasn't replied to my emails about damaged Acuna's over a week ago. I have sent 2 now.

Do I dispute the charge with my credit card?

I have never had this happen before.

The last request I put in took 12 days for a response. At that time, they provided a shipping label for me to return the cards. 9 days later they created an order to print the cards. I started receiving replacements 5 days after that.

It appears to be about a 3 week process from initiating the damage claim to receipt of the replacement cards.

They will fix the problem but you need to be patient with them.

Relax. I know it’s frustrating. They’re working on it. It’s not a slight on you. It’s going to be for the better. It’s going to take longer than anyone would like but what we want is quality. Trust the process.

I have found that calling is the best option for me. I, too, waited more than 10 days with no response to my emails about the damaged Acuna cards. I called today, waited only about two minutes, got the best customer service person I've ever had and had what I hope is a resolution by the end of the day. She even called me back a few hours later with the resolution. I might never get her again but for one day at least, everything was ok.
