It's a packaged story from the Fresno area Fox station. The Seattle affiliate just takes it and hits play. Fills air time. Pretty common for local news.

I understand that affiliate stations share stories. I have a Fox affiliate myself who will broadcast important news prepared by other stations or by Fox News. What I'm wondering is why an insignificant story out of Fresno was chosen for broadcast in the Seattle Washington area. The news director must be a trading card fan. My question was really more rhetorical because I thought the report was silly and random.
