Got my 3 boxes in today and hit a base Wemby auto, the on-card version. Cannot complain. Hit a few other nice cards. While not very visually appealing, it was a fun rip.

Am I right in assuming that what you have is the Certified Rookie Autograph base?

The standard base autographs appear to be sticker, which in my opinion just kills this. This will also make the Certified Rookie Autos go through the roof.

Watched Packman rip 5 boxes. One of the ugliest products produced. Congrats on those who hit Wemby auto, but this product is terrible. Of course the pumpers will say otherwise.

And he hit an orange wemby auto! Go figure!

If this product was released by leaf or wildcard or one of the other unlicensed company’s people would be trashing and not buying. Crazy!!

looks like the 72 autos are on card also. But if all base autos are stickers then yeah sign me up for a Certified Rookie Auto.

Apparently the checklists are off? .... that Orange /25 1972 Topps Autograph of Wemby was posted, but I don't see an Orange/25 at least in the hobby odds. It must have came from a breakers delight.

It’s the Geometric 1972, which is on the odds sheet for BD. The Geometric motif is breaker delight only.

Tough part is the Wemby had a giant print line running across the middle and the seemingly common auto streak.

He pulled some stuff that would normally be great, but the design and license issues made them pretty unappealing. Fox /5 auto and Gervin /2 autos, etc. but they look ugly as sin.

This set is comically horrendous in hand. One of the ugliest sets I can remember. Only the autos from the two big signers have any chance of retaining value. Even the base Wembys will plummet because they seem to be flying out. I didn’t expect much from this product, but it didn’t even clear my incredibly low bar. Horrible. And the price?! Awful start.

You may be right but I think, based on the way they've launched this, they probably front-loaded these to drive FOMO.
