And many times, Curry's offensive performance (and the team's defensive performance) was the reason why.

In any case, here's a pretty memorable one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrS66Uu0bb4

Probably should've gone to the line too (then again, maybe Mo Buckets travelled)
Yea... I remember watching that one...

It was a heck of a performance.

I'd like to go back and check out how many people came here after the game to try to down play what he did that night. It would be kind of silly to do so, because at the end of the day he got the job done.

And that's my point.... so predictable that the same people as always have to try to tear down the guy at every stop, even when he succeeds.

I'll go the other way and commend Steph for his performance last night. The tables were turned, in that he was the star on a team that was outmatched. He put up a great performance, but it just wasn't enough against a team that had more firepower. Sort of like the 2015 and 2017-18 Finals.

Nothing to take away from Steph who played like the legend he is last night.

Loved that LeBron / Steph embrace after the game. Two guys who just have massive respect for each other.

At this point, you either love or hate the guy. And although I see a lot of “LeBron is the greatest (mostly from one or two people) posts, I see a whoooole lot more “LeBron sucks and should be ashamed of himself. What a loser lolz” posts. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this level of hate for any other professional athlete.
So glad the other LeBronite posted such valuable input...

The fact is, LeBron had a mediocre game, passed the ball away and hit a lucky shot (when he claims he couldn't even see the hoop) after receiving a desperation pass back, and the ONLY input from some is 'Clutch! Suck it haters!' - after the fact. Didn't notice people putting LeBron down during the game either.
The Warriors blew the game with their turnovers, but because of this only significant moment of his in the game this verifies to everyone that he should be bowed down to? Nah.

What is with all of the corny nicknames and stupid garbage that you and Drobfan8 keep spouting? You didn’t see me in here last night doing any sort of “LeBronite” posting. I enjoy watching the guy play, but my life doesn’t ride on it like you seem to think it does. Many apologies for watching and enjoying an all time great player. How about you look at my post history and try and find ANYTHING that comes close to wanting people to “bow down” to him. Too bad you won’t find anything.

Now how about I find the multiple posts of you being a grumpy douche constantly bitching about anything related to the subject? I guarantee I’ll find a flood of those before you find one of me saying anything close to what you’re accusing me of.

Definitely starting to look like Russ tanked the game against the Celtics so they can play Philly instead of Brooklyn. I mean they’ll lose anyway, but he’s having a hell of a game tonight.

What is with you LeBron fans and comprehension?

I called you that because you always seem to be around to defend him.
I don't like him, that's clear, but I wasn't saying anything about him until....
The bow down was in reference to Ping. People said nothing about LeBron but he has to demand it with his post 'to the haters'.
I wanted to respond to the trolling. And then you had to have your say on the matter because it's 'people against Lebron' and we can't have that...

LeBron hit a lucky shot he didn't even want to take, he must be the GOAT.........

Anyway, I'm done with this. At least until the next Lakers game and bron-sucking posts begin again...

I don’t give a damn if you like LeBron or not. Just don’t quote me and add on the repetitive garbage that you and a few others continue to spew. Fair enough? Have an angry night, fella.

I quoted you because you justified his trolling (and of course you would, it's your king he's talking about). Don't say stupid stuff if you don't want it quoted.
Also maybe don't post if you getting quoted upsets you this much...

Being quoted doesn’t bother me. Being quoted by people that are just being confrontational dipsticks for the hell of it irritates me. You would definitely fall into that category.

Haha, I understand what you're saying. It certainly wasn't LeBron's best game but he's not 100% healthy either. He made the necessary shot at the most critical time and got the job done. Kudos to him and the Lakers, and he managed to get a triple double with 1 TO.

Regarding the 2015-16 Finals comment, I believe the Dubs had more firepower. They were just hit with some unfortunate circumstances: (1) Bogut out the final two games => no rim protection, (2) Green being suspended for one game => threw one game away, and (3) Iguodala playing with a hurt back the final game or two => not optimal defense on LeBron.

But I don't want to make excuses for the 2015-16 Finals outcome because they benefited in the 2014-15 championship run when opposing playoff teams dealt with big/key injuries.

I think it underscores in many years so many things have to go right for a title run.

2015 Cavs would have had a chance with Kyrie and Love.
2016 Warriors would have had an ever better chance if the things above didn't happen
2019 Raptors had Klay and KD go down, and the bounce from Kawhi over Philly.

But that's life and the game of basketball.

It's nice to see isn't it.

Would be cool to get a GS vs LAL fully healthy series next season.

One of my biggest basketball fan regrets was not enjoying 2015-2019 Warriors as much as I should have. As a LeBron fan they were always the biggest problem. But damn Steph and Klay are awesome. Over time you just can’t help but love them. Probably my 2nd and 3rd favourite current players. I won’t make the mistake of not enjoying GST going forward.

I got lucky and got to a home game their 1st championship season. It was electric. Probably similar what I'm guessing Cavs games were like in LeBron's first stint as a Cav.

So there is video proof someone can touch LeBron on the court without him falling down like he was shot?

I’ll just be happy when these play-in games are over. These games belittle
the whole regular season when 20 of the 30 teams have a postseason/playin games.
