2020 Bowman Draft First Edition

Just caught a bit of a box being opened... and there ARE packs w/o a foil so it's not 100%. maybe that's the benefit of getting them early but all loose.

My order has shipped and it says it weighs 1.4 lbs I wonder if that means it’s a sealed box

They would have gotten shipped seperately in that case. Topps never consolidates orders. We don't have the technology yet, maybe in our grandkids lives.

I did get 2 different orders with 2 different tracking numbers. Hopefully that means 2 sealed boxes.

Look at Jassons, they’ll come down when Draft proper releases (sell if you pull one then buy back later- that’s what I did with JD)

It's possible your call to customer service yesterday morning caused them to change course in time to get people sealed boxes via USPS today.

OR

It's possible this was just the plan all along and some subset of product went out as individual packs regardless of what people ordered.

Look at sales trends (there’s a cool chart on terapeak), they were much more at release and dropped below 100 before creeping up and settling there

There is no point looking at sales from Bowman 1st Edition release as valid data. People were not sane. I sold 2 Jasson base 1st Editions for $250 a pop, then sat there watching my eBay message for a return request. Luckily I chose an established ebayer with great feedback.

I think its valid, happens with regular bowman too- check out his chrome, or Wander's chrome at release. 95% of Bowman cards release high, dip, then return to mean and stay there until said player does something (or someone like Gary V pumps it)
