While Felix has been the only bright spark for Madrid tonight, he's not really the next god he was made out to be is he?

Every couple of months it seems to be the same headline "this will be the game which Felix must prove he's worth £110m!"

They had so little of the ball it is hard to say, and he really was their only threat. I am very interested to see how he does in Euros w/ that Portugal team, which will be much more creative and offensive minded.

He needs to leave Altletico before he gets worn out IMO.

Just checking in as a constantly disappointed Spurs fan. I'm in my eleventh year of fandom and am still wondering why I did this to myself. I look forward to discussing PL and UCL with you all. Any other Spurs supporters?

Some shocks here. Calvert Lewin and Watkins in over Bamford, and Saka taken along as a forward.

Bellingham in for political reasons only.

Mings over Konsa

Southgate is a #@#@#@#@ing moron.

As I have mentioned previously, Saka can cover any position down the left, so when it comes to a 23 man squad and different formations, he gives Southgate more cover than some others.

As to Calvert-Lewin, Bamford & Watkins...none of them could really be described, as 'World Class' so to me it is all a bit much of a muchness.

None of the CBs give me any confidence that they can cope with a half-decent attack.

My best guess is that no TAA but Walker, Saka, Coady all in means three at the back again, and that it remain plan A

Coady, Mings and Dier getting call ups while Konsa is left out is a real head scratcher, and we now risk losing both he and Wan-Bissaka to the DR Congo.

I like Konsa too, I expect him to be snapped up by a bigger team in the next couple of seasons. Supposedly Portugal are keeping an eye as well as his mum has a passport and he has a path to eligibility if he can't break in to the England team.

AWB is the best of the RB's on the defensive side but the way the role is being used at the moment you almost have to be a winger, real shame for him.

stats-wise Luke Ayling is the best RB in the Premier League this season!

215 ball recoveries (1st)
205 total duels won (1st)
76 tackles won (2nd)
13,315 progressive passing distance (yards) (2nd)
39 fouls won (2nd)
1,478 successful passes (4th)
35 successful take-ons (joint-4th)

Do you think that Manchester United will go full fledge for the Europa League title now, regardless of their position in the Premier League and the progress of the FA Cup this season?

No. Man U's goal is securing CL spot next season and they are in a much better position to do that via EPL.

We have a healthy position in the league, Ole needs a cup to prove that he can win. I think the remaining strongest team is Arsenal. So we have a better chance with Europa league than the FA cup where both chelsea and Man city remains

He can still be useful as a substitute if england wants to close out a game during the Euro’s.

Champions League QF and SF draw:

(Bayern or PSG) v (Man City or Dortmund)
(Real Madrid or Liverpool) v (Porto or Chelsea)

Two favourites in the same half, Chelsea probably the biggest beneficiaries from this draw.

Europa League QF and SF draw:

(Granada or Manchester United) v (Ajax or Roma)
(Dinamo Zagreb or Villarreal) v (Arsenal or Slavia Prague)

Man Utd v Arsenal final still possible. Very kind draw to Arsenal, the anxiety dream of losing to Unai Emery in the final is over at least.

Was hoping Dortmund got the Chelsea luck of the draw to keep Haaland mania going. Really looking forward to the Bayern PSG matchup

I personally love the Man City/Dortmund draw. World's hottest striker against world's hottest CB pairing. Truth be told, I really like all of these pairings. Would be fun to see Davies switch sides and run with Mbappe.

Hottest striker plays for Bayern.
