It's pumping so hard right now. The entire top 20 is green and almost all in + % double digits.

Will be interesting to see how long this lasts.

Happy Mothers Day.

Ironically this pump comes at the feet of yet another exchange scandal, the Binance hack.

And, of course, I was unable to deposit more funds as all deposits and withdrawals are suspended. No way am I touching Finex. The entire trading space is getting super sketch.

But at least I loaded up on more LTC at ~$70 on coinbase.

C'mon NEO do something.

I hate how altcoins are tied to the hip of BTC. In this case it's not even going up with it grr.

C'mon Chinese Ethereum!

Neo will inevitably have it's time. Just be patient. Although I'll be honest, it's one of the few alts I'd be in right now just based off their management and history.

Haven't gotten much sleep lately....market is going insane and busting through all types of resistance. Went from 5 bill daily volume to 35 bill on btc in just a matter of weeks. 10k most certainly looks like the next logical stop.

Thank god I've been out of Finex for a while due to their shadiness...else I would have probably lost a substantial amount trying to short these green dildos.

Getting some decent movement today. Market cap at 242 money is pouring in. Crazy. BTC dominance dropped 1.5% to 58.8 that's good for alts.

BTC @ 56.6% dominance and market cap @ 257.

That's good for alt coins.

I picked up $500 of XRP yesterday at .40

I love what's happening right now and hope it continues. I would love to see a repeat of late 2017.

I think every time BTC hits certain points it triggers more FOMO. 10K should be a good one.

8k is large resistance. If it busts through then 10k is inevitable. And it'll come quick. But the market also needs at least a day or two of cooldown/profit taking.

Good call. Exactly as you predicted, 2 days of a cooling off period and now the bulls are off an running again.

Lets see that 10K!

I was sitting here staring at the screen when BTC starting taking off @ around 7300.

Cashed out my small position and put it into XRP at .3820.

Hoping to see .43-.45 again and i will take some profits.

I got out of NEO because i wasn't very confident with them atm.

XRP was a good move. If you can scalp 10 percent from a pump, I'd be happy with that.

Not sure if the cool off period is over yet. BTC is still very much range bound. It needs to blow past 8200 at the close of the 1 Day candle (late afternoon).

I suspect it'll try and retest 8200 in the next few days. If it doesn't blow past and clear, then it may retest the lower trendline at 7400. Pretty much bound by those 2 numbers until we get a clearer picture.

My best educated guess is that BTC will continue yo-yo'ing within the above triangle as the market continues to scalp and take profit. Then we'll probably see a decision late May - early June once the lines converge.

From a classical charting perspective, it is an ascending bullish triangle (meaning most likely to the upside)...but as we all know crypto doesn't always follow general rules.

Really curious if it will break the resistance of 8K the coming days.
I was tempted to get in on XRP as well.

If it does break the resistance watch out! prepare for lift off IMO.

I'm not completely sold on XRP but i guess they're as good a pick as any at the moment. They have a tangible business plan which is in operation. That's about as good as you can ask for right now. The thing that i worry about with them is what if the banks just build their own Ripple? Why pay for and buy XRP when they can create their own.

Banks really are long overdue for the type of settlement speeds Ripple is offering. It takes days for transactions to be processed when moving money around even on a personal level. It would be nice if it was almost instantaneous.

It's easy to get caught up in the hype of any one altcoin. They all self promote themselves on a daily basis along with people pumping them.

Another one that i've looked at a few times is Stellar Lumens XLR. It was created by the same founder of Ripple. The difference is XLR is person to person. XRP is more to do with bank settlements, which is also a huge market trillions of dollars.

I think those two will kind of run together. They all kind of run together but yeah they're similar.

xlm and ripple both have a pretty good safety net compared to most alts. Anytime you have the fed banks and IBM in the corner, then you have tangible financial backing by real corporations with real life use cases. I got in on stellar back when it was sub-300 satoshis well over a year ago right before the IBM partnership was announced. Didn't expect it to ever reach 2000+ satoshis, but glad to see it thrive.

The thing about XRP is that its price has been muted greatly compared to most other alts during this recent bull run. It was ranging in the low $.3 for what seemed like forever. It's really only a matter of time before it takes off again and catches up with the rest if the market continues to trend upwards, most which have doubled or tripled in price.
As much as I hate to say it, Binance coin is also one of the top long term holds as well. They continue to distance themselves from the other trading platforms, and so long as they continue to be responsible with their assets (the SAFU reserves for this recent hack), I don't see why that will change anytime soon. One of the very few exchanges in history that appears like it has some real potential long term.

Going to be a fun second half with one big potential move that could change the game.

So apparently Craig Wright was Satoshi Nakamoto. And as a result, people just doubled their ROI holding bitcoin silver for a few hours.

Long live crypto!

It's crazy we're only about $150 billion away from the ATH market cap. I say only because that's about how much the market has gained in the past 2-3 months. Ridiculous run, especially in alts.

A little bit of trouble in paradise, but a big cool off was inevitable after that ridiculous shot up.

https://www.tradingview.com/x/Z1LLvoB4/

Breached the red short term trendline, and it's a bit concerning that this is the first time the price has fallen below the ichimoku cloud in something like 3 months. Not a huge amount of support down here between about 7200 and 6100 dollars. Wonder if the bulls will try and push their way back up or if this may have been yet another trap set by the big bags.

Timberrrrr.

Looks like suspicions materialized unless there's a last second miracle push before the daily close in 30 minutes. Going to be eyeing that low 7k range hard and may layer in some buy ins depending how volume looks.

These might be the final opportunities to buy before the 10k retest.
