My kids had a brother and sister as friends growing up. They pretty much lived at our house. 2 out of 3 meals and often times spent the night. When one was sick they called my wife to pick them up from school. Often times we gave their mother gift cards to the local grocery store and also brought meals up to their house. Hell one year we even helped out by buying them some clothes for the new school year.
Does that count?
Oh yea, they were of mixed race too. BONUS POINTS!

That counts in my book. Not that i matter. I am a mentor for a kid here locally that comes from a spilt home and really doesnt have anything. Best meals he gets is when i take him out. I help him out as much as possible. He is mixed also. We also give my brother in law free baby sitting for his daughter so he can work and provide for her and his other child. We also help out the mother by watching her kid from another relationship and the daughter when she has her. But according to Heel i dont care about kids.

It doesn't "even out." If the mortality rate among 70+ and people with preexisting conditions is even 1%, you're still looking at ~ 1 million people dying before herd immunity could be theoretically reached, which to reiterate, may not even be a thing because immunity might only be temporary.

So, really, if herd immunity isn’t an option, we really need to wait for a vaccine. Would the best way to combat this until a vaccine is available be social distancing and wearing masks?
