I would counter both matter. It's not a zero-sum game. It's just as illegal for me threaten to murder someone as it is to murder someone. Yes, one has a stiffer penalty, but they're both illegal.

Aside from my genuine hatred for Trump the person, I am looking forward to a Biden presidency as he won't be on television all of the time. We all need a break from an attention-starved president.
I haven't seen Trump on TV for about 4 months. Never see Biden. I see the clips of the 2 of them that you guys post.

Tell him it's a number that fat 45 year old white guys have on their softball uniforms. And that they never get to experience actual 69.

He wasn’t referring to any of those conditions when he talked about it.

But I understood his gist. They’re dry and go up in flames in an instant..

That "W's" best known for the lie that sold the disastrous Iraq invasion must weigh on him. His time as former President shows that George was "deeper" than he was given credit for (and is approximately eleven times smarter than Trump). Maybe "W." is trying to make amends, like Michael Scott, all quiet and respectful in the last episode of "The Office". I've seen some of Bush's recent paintings, not bad. His wife and daughters seem nice. I wish him well.

Hope for that after Trump is out.
Whatever you end up doing, vote Biden.
My mother in law tells me a vote for Jorgensen is actually a vote for Trump. I said it is literally a vote for Jorgensen, but if she wants, I will not "waste" my vote on Jorgensen and actually vote for Trump. She doesn't like that idea.

I'm really not sure why you are even bringing this up.

I've considered yahoo irrelevant for years. Terrible for news, terrible as a search engine. Good for puff pieces and feel good stories.

edit: just saw your other post regarding this.

Ballhawk: just get rid of yahoo. Use google as your homepage/search engine. Yahoo is the "Dane Cook" of home pages. (Archer reference)

I honestly forgot Yahoo even still existed. Who still uses Yahoo for anything? And why? There are literally 10 sources I could think of that are better sources for anything Yahoo offers.

The head of the commission called the separation of church and state a “fallacy” in the context of whether religious individuals can discuss their morality in the public square. He said both bishops were free to voice their opinions.

He even clarified that Trump did not take the Johnson Act off the books, he simply forbade authorities from enforcing it. Similar to how Obama left several immigration laws on the books and simple directed officers not to enforce them.

He also didn’t say “spiritual warfare.” His interviewer used those words in the context of the general breakdown of order we’ve seen this summer and he agreed with that assessment.

Please tell me you read this article.

Question: Does “listen to and trust experts” include legal experts?

Because I have a very strong feeling that as many of the high-profile officers under investigation receive their rulings, we’re going to see a whole lotta people suddenly trusting their gut over experts with a lifetime of training.

Trust the experts. Unless the experts say or do stuff we don’t like... those experts are corrupt. Things are very confusing.

My Google homepage is telling me to click and see how America is searching to support Black trans communities. That's nice.

Holy sh** you weren’t kidding. I have so many questions about this stuff that I don’t really want to know the answers to.

- Are police targeting black transgenders?
- Does everybody get a turn in the spotlight? Is midget awareness next? What about Native American midget awareness? I think that deserves at least a week.
- Do we move on to animals at some point or have we created enough genders to keep us busy for a while?
- How do these groups feel when this happens? Are they fist pumping when they see that like, “yes... we made it!” or are they like, “no... not us too!”

Edit:
One more...
- How do non trans black people feel? Are they like, “whoa... we weren’t done yet”?

26 trans / non-conforming individuals have been killed in 2020. And the distribution is really off.

5 killed in Puerto Rico.

15 Black trans killed by their community.

5 White trans killed - though at least two cases do not appear to be related to gender discrimination. One was a taxi driver who was shot while in his car and the other involved a woman lunging at an officer a foot-long knife.

1 LatinX trans killed.

None of the reports say the victim was killed by someone of a different race.

What I have learned today from Biden, if everyone wore a mask, there would have been 0 deaths from COVID.

Sounds like this is a black problem. Us whiteys may be racist but at least we aren’t transphobic. What what. I’m calling this a win for my people.

The trans issue gets complicated fast, especially when activists conflate “trans” with “intersex” and then toss out the infamous “1-2% of the population” statistic.

If you ever hear someone say trans/intersex people make up +1% of the population (the statistic used by activists), ask if they are including the condition “adrenal hyperplasia” in that count. If you’ve ever seen a guy with a thin beard or unable to grow facial hair or a woman with some long chin/neck hairs, there’s a good chance they have adrenal hyperplasia. It a very mild to moderate hormonal imbalance—but it doesn’t make someone “intersex.”

Yet once you remove adrenal hyperplasia from the list, that 1-2% number drops to 0.01-2% of the population.

That said, trans lives do matter. Even if there was only a single trans person in the country. They would still matter. When activists falsely inflate numbers, they actively harm vulnerable minorities because they are resorting to a logic of “there are a lot of us and so we deserve protection”—which is the opposite of how a truly compassionate and humane society should think.

LGBTQ numbers are extremely small. But people think they're much higher than they actually are because it's constantly pushed. Over and over.
