Turns out Dan Campbell just confirmed the TD that got called back was due to the refs getting the call from NY. I never knew they can retrospectively call a penalty when the refs on the field missed it. I guess that's only to chiefs, never I've seen that before

Noticed Mahomes did the same thing as Brady and I'm sure others with the auto.

His rookie/early autos are the full name, but everything since is some double circles after the P consolidated. I'm probably going to grab a Mahomes auto, I'd just prefer a 2017 rookie year.

Donruss Elite up right now under 2k ends tonight, not sure if that's dog or not. I'm sure any auto is decent, but that set is probably eh. /25 though. Probably not worth it for the 2.5k ish it will end at.

It's still crazy to me that Mahomes has had the greatest start to a career of any QB ever... Stats, winning, awards...Such an amazing and blessed time to be a Chiefs fan.. Makes all the lack of postseason success I saw worth it.

I think I know which one you're talking about, nice looking card. It always concerns me though when the person chose to have it authenticated instead of graded... The only obvious flaw I can see is that back bottom right corner, but it's kind of hard to tell when there's only 2 pics and your looking through a slab. At least the auto is a 10, if that's a higher priority.
Although it's not considered "high-end", Donruss Elite is a very nice looking set and still relatively affordable. I know a lot of people (including myself) like it.
I plan on getting one more auto myself, and when I do, it will definitely be his original style auto, as I think it looks way better than his newer version. I think most people prefer his original auto, plus they are way more limited since he only signed cards that way for a couple years.

Yeah to me it's all about the auto. I'm not looking to drop a ton of money on it, so authentic grade is fine to me as long as the card looks pretty good to the eye. It has 2 hours left now.

The thing is that it is a sticker. Which I do not like. And I saw an immaculate 2017 auto go for 4.6k very recently, so I don't think it's worth dropping the 2k-2.5k for this card when you can get one of the best sets, on card, for 4-5k range. That was a Probstein auction too for the Immaculate auto.

Either way. I'd like to get one. But I also have a few other things in mind too.

Less than an hour to go and still under $2K. It has a lot of watchers though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it jump in price quite a bit before it's over, especially in the last 10 seconds.

It went for 2.4k. Which leads me back to that 2017 immaculate RPA at 4.6k being a much better value, to me. I had a pretty nice Brady rookie auto, now I have another one of a lower caliber. But my collection goal is to get a rookie auto of the top 5-10 QBs all-time. I guess that's what I'm going for.

Yup, it went for a little less than I thought it would. It didn't budge for hours and was still under $2K up until it had about 6 seconds left.
