Just a warning. I bought a few of these recently and they all seem to be in NMT condition. The ones I have seen on ebay all seem to be NMT or worse.

Considering they are 3 plus years old, if I wanted one I would buy a graded copy.

No idea about the PR for the new era card but according to the PSA website there are only 11 graded 9 and 25 graded 10. Interesting!

I can’t believe how his stuff is blowing up right now. A raw 2018 Immaculate auto /49 that sold for $500 a month ago went for $2k+ today. That’s quite a jump!

I still have 313 cards at PSA. Anyways, I was going through my old emails to gather all the cards I’ve submitted, and completely forgot about the bottom card listed here!!!!! Hurry up PSA!!

Just a heads up that I've been getting hit for a lot of upcharges on cards recently. Once my orders reach QA2, I've been getting an email from PSA that the current value of the card in that grade exceeds the amount allowable for that service.

Anyone with nicer Ohtani cards at PSA should be worried. Get ready for 2-3x the fees.

Well I have a couple orders of Deshaun Watson there so hopefully they'll send me a check for grading those.

Anybody know the PR of his Rated Rookie Wrapper Redemption Short-Prints? I have a dozen of them, including 2 of the Japanese Text variations

Yea, I kinda lucked out! I subbed through Pcsportscards.com
I had somewhere in the vicinity of 360ish cards in total. I’ve received 3 subs back since the end of last year. I believe almost all of them were $14 card submissions. Broke up the submission to help with the payments. I decided to Yolo all my decent cards last year and flip what I didn’t want for other cards for the PC.

I don’t think there is a way to calculate how many prints there are. But yes, I remember people digging through the trash after this was announced. I had 2 boxes and saw the redemption go live before I opened the boxes. I sent them in and got 2 Ohtanis.

That should actually be against the law. Aren’t they bound by terms of service at the time of purchase by the customer, You/Us/everyone ?

It would be simple for Topps and grading companies to fix the fair market value of a submission/redemption request as per the date of receipt; however, they aren’t dumb enough to do that. They make/save much more money this way.

Yep, it's ridiculous. The problem is most people don't make too much of a fuss because if they're getting upcharged, that means their cards increased drastically since they submitted them.

Yes, it's part of the terms of service and built into the agreement you sign when you hand over your cards to PSA.

You can agree to the upcharges and pay them, or they send back your cards ungraded but still charge you the original grading fees.

It's a little unethical the way they do it. They should be checking values when they receive the package, not after a year when they finally get around to grading your cards.

example: if you submitted a 2018 Topps Chrome 150 Ohtani XFractor in October 2020 and it receives a 10 in July 2021, PSA will determine that is a $1,800 card and upcharge as necessary. (Last sale of PSA 10 Xfractor on eBay)

I think that's why they've been letting a lot of them go. I had a Luka sub that was worth about $1500 when I submitted it and $21000 when I got it back. They upcharged me from bulk to standard on four cards and I think to express on two cards out of 36 cards total.
