How is this funny? 200,000 people have died because of this virus.

We just had a solemn day of memory for over 2,000 people who died in a terrorist attack, but you can't scrape together some decency to take seriously the deaths of 200,000 American citizens?

Really?

Batting .358 on posts with the word "Trump" in them. Solid.
But the post you responded to did not make any mention of your GEOTUS. I've given up trying to shame Trump supporters - it's clear you have none.

Please, continue to jerk yourself off to the image of the constitution while your fellow countrymen die of a disease that much of the world has already handled.

Apparently you missed the months of "You're killing Grandma!"

Also.. I'd be interested in hearing how this has anything to do with.. anything?

After a quick Google search, about ~8000 people a day die in the US. I would hope that every single day of your life of a solemn one.. to, you know.. mourn the deaths. And hell, that's JUST the U.S.! Apparently 150k die a day around the world (seems kinda low, right..?) Now, I KNOW for a fact that all of your life is spent in solemn remembrance.. to, you know, mourn. I'll give you a few hours to sleep, though. The rest of the 18 hours should be in full mourning.

No one is downplaying deaths, I'm asking why more wasn't done to take care of those at risk instead of ruining people's lives?

Because we can take seriously the deaths of 2,000+ people almost 20 years ago, but people can't seem to take seriously a pandemic that's happening right now. We are over six months in and people are still arguing about this thing.

You really shouldn't be posting. You should be mourning.

Police shooting in Amish country. I think I've seen it all.

Though to be fair, there was a pretty hectic mess a few years back involving Harrison Ford.

I would argue some on here are downplaying the deaths since the majority are those they would consider the "less dead," ie. the elderly, the infirm.

I agree that more should have been and should be done to protect the most vulnerable. However, that sometimes means that certain businesses should be closed for a period of time.

Flawless victory.
Well-done.

It’s funny because he lives with his grandma.

Meatloaf tonight, I’m guessing.

Here I was thinking that someone in their 90's not living in a nursing home was a good thing, but alright.

I do find it kind of funny this has peeved you for like 6 months, though. LOL.

but to think you got a victory just because you think that some of the businesses should have closed which most that closed wouldn't of had to if the most vulnerable would have been taken care of, because you think we are saying lives don't matter when it comes to our rights is just wrong. I'm sorry

Eventually, it happens to all of 'em.
There are some openings in the Trump administration he might fit.
