Hits are obviously pretty scarce in Heritage but every hobby box has about 195 non-SP base cards (200 in the set) so you've got like a 97% chance to get a Julio base. Good luck pulling a gem though.

I don’t think it would be out of the question if the Ms do in fact win the division and LAA land in last. Could easily make the case that Julio’s explosion sparked the Ms to the title while as great as Ohtani is it didn’t matter in the standings.

But there’s still a full month+ to go so let’s see how it all shakes out.

That's the same nonsense "but the rest of his team sucks so he can't actually be that valuable" argument that people kept trotting out last year. And last year, with Judge doing something "historic" (), that nonsense was enough to cost him the award. But with J-Rod not doing anything on that same scale, and the voters having the benefit of hindsight to see their mistake last year, there's just no way.
