That missed extra point killed them.

Dang, hard to see Chris Jones lose the game for them like that. 0-2 not a great way to start the season, but we’ve been here before.

Missed extra point = 1 point. Final score 21-27. Make it make sense

Now is the time for Harbaugh to be your daddy!

Now you got the Super Bowl CHAMPS to put you down 0-2.

Oh yeah, that's right, thanks. And the Chiefs ended up winning the Super Bowl that season too, if I remember correctly

The Chargers won tonight, but we all know they won't end up going anywhere in the long run

I can’t read half these posts because of the ignore list. It’s a magical thing.

Harbaugh is running the ship. I will say the AFC West is the greatest coached division of all time. Harbaugh, Reid, Carroll, Payton...Penciling in the chiefs for division dominance going forward is a big leap of faith.

Got the obligatory Chris Jones regular season loss out of the way week one.

If Worthy is out for the year do they make a play at bringing Tyreek back?

Is any other player thread on blowout such a magnet for haters? Cant really think of one.

It's the ultimate compliment TBH.

Repeatedly stomped the whole league on the way to 3 rings and now their brains are broken.

Insecure Brady Boys. The Bills guy who has devoted 80% of his posts on blowout forums to being a hater in this thread. Dang, Mahomes really cut you guys deep, huh.

Didn't stomp my team. The Killer B's (Bruce, Bowles, Byron, Brady) and the Bucs humbled him real good in SB LV

The two main posters who spent most of last year carping about refs, Goodell, conspiracies etc. and then are going on what appear to be meth-addled victory laps after one game in 2025 is peak coping.

Regardless of whether the Chiefs win or lose this year, they have proven themselves to be the most dominant team in the NFL the past 7 seasons. We’ll see what happens this year.

Plusses and minuses in this.

The obvious minuses were that Worthy could be out for a considerable about of time and we're back to Hollywood Brown as our #1 WR, and that the defense looked awful. Giving up a key 3rd and 14 and 3rd and 15 late was bad.

The good news is that Showtime Mahomes came to play. After this first quarter (which was a cluster), the Chiefs scored every time they got the ball, all long drives, without their top receiver or a passable run game.

I can count off the top of my head at least 3 highlight Mahomes plays: The TD run that made Kahil Mack look like a practice squad guy, the 4th down bomb to Hollywood with an unblocked Mack pressuring him, and this pass, which was an important completion late in the game:

315 yards, 2 tds, no turnovers, and an 80.9 QBR in just 8 possessions is a fine performance. Just hope the defense figures it out.

Mahomes came to play and said I’ll do it myself
