Was on 2 excursion trips on the Alaskan cruise got back to the boat and checked the score they were winning 10-8 so I was okay with that. When I found out they were winning 10-1 at one point I was pissed. Saw the twins made it 10-9 but the Yankees held on. At least Boston lost 2-1 to the A’s but Toronto just keeps winning so number one wildcard seed is what it Los like.

This bullpen is horrific.

Yankees survive another bullpen meltdown, beat Twins 10-9 after nearly wasting 9-run lead

2 out of 3 from the fightin' Twinkies. Now the dreaded pm flight back east. I do hope they can recover and summon the strength to take on another AAAA team

Trent Grisham's 2 homers power Yankees to 10-5 win over Twins

https://www.espn.com/mlb/recap/_/gameId/401697187

4 games back now, but I don't see Toronto falling apart to lose the division.

I was shocked that Dominguez played last night.

I'm wondering if he'll come back next year. He's a FA and Cody has an opt out. Losing them both would be a kick in the nuts for next year.

I've been a Grisham h8er but can't deny he's been great this year. However, now the Yanks front office has the difficult job of figuring out whether this is Grisham finally breaking out, or if it's a fluke.

For Belli, his market will always be unpredictable. He's turning 30 next year and there's going to be a new CBA after the 2026 season. Because of this, I think he opts out. Even if his AAV is lower, he will most likely want the job security for 2027 in case there's a lockout. I think a 127 OPS+ earned him that right.

Easy for me. Re-sign Belli and Grisham (not as long a contract as Belli). Outfield of Belli, Grisham, and Spencer Jones with Dominguez as backup. Move Judge to 1B. Rice primary catcher.

If Judge isn't working on 1B this offseason, I will personally buy him a first base mitt and hand deliver it to him. It's time.

Not saying that he should be the 1B next year but there's no harm in preparing him now in case the time comes sooner than expected.

This seems like such a no brainier. The only reason I can see it not happening is that Judge fights it. There's no reason for the team to be against it but I can see the player dragging their feet. Even Judge is human, he might be balking at the whole idea.

Harper moved for the good of his health and career, so can Judge.

It was hilarious listening to the pre-game and then the announcers opening talking about how the Yankees only win when they hit homeruns and then they score 7 runs without one.

Having to put up with homer Smoltz broadcasting was just as bad as if I was forced to watch this game on MASN listening to Jim Palmer.

9 games left given the opponents they should go at worst 6-3 which would give them 92 wins and make it impossible for cle to catch them.

He's always an anti-Yankees homer. We must have really broke him in 1996.

Stanton's home run was so hard, it knocked my TV right off the router.

Either that or MASN doesn't want anyone to watch this game for fear of an Orioles beat down.
