Why do you think that ARod's prices have stayed relatively low as a 3 time MVP, 3000+ hits and basically 700 HRs player compared to a guy like Barry Bonds whose cards have risen recently? Do you think it's comparable to Albert Pujols where maybe just not enough time has passed to appreciate the accomplishment of the player and in a few years Pujols/ARod will rise the same way Barry Bonds has recently?
I would say because most Yankees fans never liked A-Rod. No one who is a Texas fan probably collects him and Seattle fans have probably long forgotten him. He's still listed in my second "Favorites" category in my Beckett organize and when the month comes around for his slot, I'll pick up about $20 of his cards from COMC.

But he's just as likely to go into a month long slump.
It depends on what he does against the Astros, Blue Jays, and Red Sox. If he has some good series and the Yankees win and doesn't disappear, he'll be good. He just can't disappear and then rock the White Sox and Orioles at the end of the season.

I'm still waiting to see if that robbed home run against the Rays hurts him.

So no Spencer Jones, but we get Escarra and Yarborough up for September call-ups.

Yankees make expected September call-ups official with another move coming

Looks like Stanton may be playing left field today.

I'd settle for 6-6 over the next 12, but they probably go 4-8 at best.

What’s funny is I thought with the way Bichette is playing his cards would’ve went up in value or be more sought after but I guess being in Canada hurts his sales.

I think once he gets his contract settled and continues to produce, his cards will follow the Jose Ramirez/Manny Machado/Nolan Arenado type of path. Not saying he is those players, but I can see his cards moving into that tier.

I don’t really collect him but he is one of those players I seem to hit decent cards of when breaking product.

Nothing in the first but Judge had a hard hit first pitch single.

Volpe still fielding like garbage double play ball flubbed lucky to get the force at second. Extra outs a plenty with this team.

Fried gets a pop out and strike out to end the first 0-0.

Goldschmidt strands Caballero at 3rd after a Jazz 2 run blast. Wells struck out looking before that.

Grisham is so paid this off-season. Good for him!

Yes and although I have mixed feelings about Jazz it looks like he will be in the 30’30 club.

Great to see them start off the tough part of their schedule with a win. Maybe it will give them confidence as Valdez has always given them trouble.

Grisham's grand slam powers Yankees to 7-1 win over Astros

And again, it makes you wonder what he could have done last year if he played instead of Verdugo.

Might be turning into too much of a hot head.

Dejesus had a quick hook and was bad all night to both teams. I would like to see his missed balls and strikes from last nights game. Caballero shouldn’t have said anything though as he was the one who swung at a pitch that hit him.

This team needs some hot heads. They've been too passive for too long.

Passionate is one thing. A hot head, like Caballero, just got tossed twice in two weeks. Nobody needs players getting tossed because of their attitude and then cause other moves being unable to be made later in the game since they are no longer in the game.

Yankees are 13-4 in their last 17 games. Lost 3 to Boston and 1 to Chicago. If they keep it up, things are looking good.

13 games against AL East teams doesn't give me an overwhelming feeling of hope.
