He really is painful. Lucky that dude can put the ball in the hole.

Imagine his musings on a building site.

You ever think that sometimes celebrities say stuff just so you can get upset and talk about it for days? People in his mold just say stuff. At what point in our lives does what Kyrie say mean so much? Apologies in advance if his words hold relevance to you.

I mean are we still wondering if the world is flat?

Kyrie man.... My take.

I was there at Game 7. I watched his hit one of the most cold hearted shots right over the leagues reigning MVP to get the 'ship.

I left that game thinking that by 2020, the league would be his.

Now he's still a hell of a player. Easy HOF'r when it's all said and done. But I've had to learn to let go at some of the stuff he pulls. He reminds me of the college freshman who takes his first phycology or sociology class and suddenly thinks he's more woke than the rest of the world.

I'm glad he's taking care of himself and spending time trying to do what he thinks is right in the world, but I'm just not sure he has the best grasp on what that is all the time.

I know he donates money to some good causes... I just hope that his journey leads him to helping the right causes.

Perhaps we can go with this logo?

The game was built by Canadian PE teachers Kings!

Michael Jordan would be the only acceptable logo. Not even worth mentioning anyone else if it were to change.

Only problem with using Jordan's is the massive conflict of interest. Can't imagine every major entity being happy with Air Jordan- his logo is already used on all NBA statement edition jerseys.

Best solution is to stop being triggered. NBA logo is a classic. It's the most counterfeited logo among major pro sports.

I missed the boat. Someone's triggered by the current logo? What is it this time?

A lot of games tonight, but doesn't seem to be any great matchups.

Anybody got an under the radar game to focus on?

Lebron should not get MVP this year if this continues.

If 28 points, 11 rebs, 7 assists, 4 steals, 3 blocks, and a win continues, it'll be the easiest MVP vote ever.

LeFossil went full myotragus mode tonight.

Dame just didn't look right after the ankle injury. CJ can't come back soon enough.

Are you serious..?

The ONLY reason he wants it changed is because it's a white player.

I have Kyrie on my fantasy team and I always admired him for his playoff performances, but after his shenanigans this year I just want him to go away.

Love when Lebron is taking charges and getting steals and blocks. Really energizes the team.

I have neither Twitter or Instagram. I don’t need athletes or entertainers to tell me what I should or should not believe.

Same here. I've thought about getting insta for sports card sales but FB has been working fine so far for that. One day we'll build a decentralized platform on the Ethereum network.

Back to on court action:

A couple decent ones today:

Zion vs the Spurs... back where it all began for him, and

Dallas vs Brooklyn. Uphill Battle again for Luka, but without KD, Mavs should have a chance.

A few things about Durant..... 1. He'll be out with a hamstring until after the all star break. That means someone else gets his spot. Will it be Trae or Sabonis?

2. Missing the next 3 games will mean that he only played 19 of 37 games in the first half of the year. Additionally, in the games played so far, Brooklyn better record without him (10-5) than with him (12-7). Considering it's pretty certain he's not going to play every game in the second half of the year, I'm declaring his regular season MVP hopes dead in the water.

1. Sabonis is replacing KD.

2. Sadly yes, his hopes for MVP are done. I'm just glad he doesn't look like he has lost anything after the injury. He's truly amazing to watch.

I know there was some talk recently about KD passing Kobe one day for 3rd in scoring, but it's an uphill climb, considering that he's only missed less than 10 games once since 2013-14.

I can see him from here being Lakers era Shaq, where he misses a ton of regular season games in an effort to have him up and at 100% for the play-offs, where he can still dominate.

But yea, he's playing as well as he did in Golden State. I don't doubt his top end ability.... his liability lies in the fact that his body can't take the grind of a full regular season anymore. That's less of a factor in the playoff for a guy like him. Nobody is going to fault him for his regular season if Brooklyn gets a ring this year.

2019-20 - 19-8 (.704)

That’s only against the west. You’re assuming they would have a worse winning percentage playing 52 games versus the west opposed to 30 which is ridiculous. You just want to assume their record would be worse to prove your point with nothing to back it other than your own bias, when you already have a 30 game sample size. It’s more logical to assume their winning percent against the west would be the same or at least close to it. Even if it was slightly lower their 30 games against the “garbage” east would all be “gimmes” so that would put their percent higher than I used for the argument.
16/17 were 3rd in the East would have been 6th in the West
17/18 1st in the East would have been 3rd in the West (playing on the road in round 2 vs home all the way to the NBA finals is a massive difference)
18/19 TOR actually played better vs the West, I wonder if Kawhi helped. I would be sceptical that your West record would hold up if you had to play them 52 times, I doubt you win 73% of your games still. Still, this was a championship team.
19/20 2nd in the East would have been 2nd in the West
20/21 4th in the East would be 11th out West (looks like you're back to a typical East team)

I mean, TOR for a few years were one of the top East teams, we're not worried about the top 3 in the East. Although there's still clearly an advantage with all the games you can cruise through playing teams 8 through 15 each year in the East are a joke. As if teams like ORL and a Kyrie less Nets are sniffing Playoffs out West.

The East as a whole is a joke. And it's a massive leg up playing out there. God how I wish the Spurs were in the East from 98 onwards. Could you imagine how many NBA Finals Tim Duncan would have gotten to had he not had to play the Lakers with Shaq and Kobe for about 6 years and then the Kobe/Pau Lakers, Dirks Mavs, Durant's Thunder or the Dubs.

Sorry. The East is pathetic as a whole and it's time to move on from the old system.

Kyrie's an idiot but we already knew that. What's new?

If they want to change it i think it should be Bird or Magic. Those two literally saved the NBA. Before they came into the league the games played on TV were on tape delay. That's pretty bad. They ushered in the golden age of basketball and made it widely popular.
